*October* 

Today was Ian’s 17th Birthday. His family was throwing a HUGE! party for him and well Tian. So i was nervous about going but I knew I had to I mean I’ve known them my entire lives. My mom was going as well.

“Honey you ready?”She asked walking into my room 

“Yup.”

We headed to the country club where the birthday was. I knew this was the Parental party and then later there would be a KID party. 

The party started and well it was pretty boring until I was forced to talk to the birthday boys.

“Sarah!”their mom yelled

“Hi.”

“Happy Birthday.”I said to both of them 

“Thanks.. they replied kind of rude but whatever. Ignored it. I walked to my table. 

“Why is Ian being so rude?”I asked Allyson

“Because apparently you called him a bunch of names.”

“didn’t.”

“Did.”She said walking away. I checked my phone and texted Ian. 

Me to Ian what the fuck did I do?

Ian nada.. oh someone told people you were spreading shit and it was easier to make the momma think neither of us were close so we didn’t have to go down the Tian hates her. 

me :( this makes me sad :’( 

Ian Come give me a hug.

Me NO! I’m outta here!

“SARAH ELIZABETH ANN DAWSON YOU LEAVE I KILL YOU!”IAN yelled into a microphone “Sorry, my best friend decided she wanted to leave, so I am supposed to give you all a speech to thank you and thank my dear parents for throwing my brother and I this party which thank you, I also want to thank my dear friend Miss Sarah Dawson from successfully keeping my brother and I from not killing each other for the last 17 years. I also want to say im sorry that same dear brother hates you now,and spread viscous lies about you, he didn’t mean it and now have a great party.”

Then Tian hit Ian and no one could stop them. So I stood up and walked over and did what i always did which is grab Tian by his ear and dragged him out. 

“get your slutty hands off me.”he snapped 

“fine whatever.”I said “now you hate me and not your brother so grow the fuck up.”

“can we talk?”He asked

“are you serious?”

“I need to tell someone this before I fucking explode.”He said as he led me to the coat closet. funny thing is we used to make out in here and before that hide from other people and well talk. 

“So?”I said when we sat down in out usual corners 

“My dad is cheating again.”

“oh shit.”

“Uncle Kyle is back in the picture.”

“Ughhh, I hate this.”I said 

“I found out who with my dad.”

“Who?”

“Your Mom.”he said with such pain

I looked at him, i knew it was true. I started to cry, my mom was breaking up a family. Tian held me. 

“Ti I never slept with Alex, I never cheated on you.. Im not like her.”I cried 

“I know, I knew the day you said it, but it was easier to pretend to hate you then to have you ignore me.”

“I miss you.”I cried

“I miss you too.”he said “But we can’t go back not yet anyway.” “If our parents ever really get together and by that I mean my dad and your mom, we go back to being friends, but until then we are just like this.”

“Whats this?”

“Im always here for you when you need a secret told, I wont be your bestie like E will but babe I got your back.”

“I hate my boyfriend.”

“Understandable he seems like a pretensions douchebag.”

“But I love him or at least i think i do.”

“I think you do, but knowing you there is a dude in a band you love more.”

“I swear its not Alex.”

“Nah but he is the ultimate fantasy.”

“Shut up.”I said laughing 

he was tickling me and then we stopped laughing it got quiet and we both leaned in and kissed each other. we stopped almost instantly and then I left. I ran into Kyle.

“Babe you okay?”

“FIne and don’t ever call me babe.”I snapped

We danced and Partied. I had made up with my biggest enemy tonight but I felt so disgusting for kissing him. but it proved something.. you will always love your first love.. if you can call them that.. I mean lets be real Christian Roberts is King of the douchebags.
