Chapter 36. Kai & Me

I tap her shoulder, smiling forcedly, "Don't worry. We'll be together again as soon as possible. Don't lose hope girls, believe and don't worry," I flashed them a bright smile.

"May I ask you, what's your purpose here? And.. Where's the other black Pearl members? And where's Baekhyun?" Hyoyeon asked all of the sudden, "Hmm, I'm actually doing my task to check the attendance of every sections in GreenFields," I showed them the white folder contains the whole attendance sheet of GreenFields. "O-omo? All GreenFields sections, you said?" Sooyoung asked in disbelief.

I bob my head as I look down to the shiny floor, "Maybe we can help you about it," Yoona said with a smirk. I dart her with a look, confused. "W-what?", "She said we'll help you about it. So come on and let's work that one before Baekhyun will scold you for passing it late,"

"But I know he's–" I didn't get the chance to finish my words when Tiffany pulled me followed by the girls.

Black Pearl Section's unit, Kai's POV

"Let's go and make a tour for Taeyeon!" Chanyeol cheered, I stand up on my couch aka my bed, "There's no way you can have her a tour! Did you already forgot what Baekhyun said that there's no tour for today? Besides, she's tired and needs some rest!" I don't know why but I suddenly hollered that makes my voice echoed all around the room.

All of them turned quiet after what Kai did, some are exchanging gazes with different eye contacts, "Jongin, tell me, you're really acting differently since we take the hot spring," Xiumin hyung stepped forward to me.

I widened my eyes, apparently avoiding his gaze, "Xiumin hyung's right Kai, why are you acting like this, huh? And earlier, you just gave me a glare and bumped on my shoulder. What's the matter with you Mr. Kim?" Kyungsoo hyung asked as he crossed his arms. I bit my lower lip, none of any words are coming out through my mouth. I'm also confused with my part.. W-why am I acting like this since I arrived in a different country?

I don't have to say that I'm not used to it since I'm always traveling everywhere for our family business. The main question is.. Why am I doing this actions towards them?

Taeyeon's POV

"That'll solve your problem?" Sooyoung asked with a beam, eating a bar of chocolates I bought her recently. "Yeah yeah yeah, you make me believe more," I nod my head as I close the white folder. Well, my work here is done! These girls, I really owe them a lot! They helped me to look for every of the sections! Then there, I checked their attendance.

Sooyoung and I made a deal and that is, if we don't finish this task, I'm going to give Miss Choi Sooyoung a punishment, but if I fail and we've finished this in no time, I'll treat a chocolate anytime she wants. And there she goes! Happy now, Miss Choi Shikshin?

But still, I'm also grateful with these girls, other friends are only plastics, using you for them to also be called as popular, but these girls are totally different. I love them so much that they came in my life, without them, I must be a crazy girl looking for everyone right now.

I smiled on my thought as they looked at me in suspiciousness, "Well, I thank you a zillion times. Apparently, I don't know how to say a thanks. If a Thank You party will do," I scratch my nape shyly.

Seohyun playfully slap my arm as she smiled, "Tsk! You don't have to worry about that, Unnie! And we do have fun having time with you. Even if it's just a single moment," She whispered the last words under her breath.

"It's our pleasure to help," Hyoyeon curved her lips into a beautiful smile. I exchange them with my original smile, almost with a teary-eyed. "I know that it's crazy to say that we've met for a single period of time. But after those, you're nicer than I thought for somebody else," I commented, "And that's also what we've thought about you," Yoona said with a smile.

All of the sudden, someone tap my shoulder as I startled a little bit. And as I look back, the girls and I gasped at the same time.

Due to my shock expression and frozen on my place, I cannot really pronounce the accurate word when I saw him casually dressed up. "K-kai?"
