*A few days later*

Bri'Aye's POV

My and Zay have been doing great. I have my doubts but we are doing good. We are on our way to Zay's mama's house. He wasn't us to get to know each other. I am not in the mood. We had to bring Jai'vion so he is being a little fussy.

We arrived at the house. It was beautiful on the outside and the inside. I walked on with Javon in his carrier and Zay lead me to the living room to have a seat. I sat down and took Jai'vion put of his carseat as Zay left to retrieve him mama. I was hopping Jai'vion on my knee when a small older woman came in the living room. She sat at the opposite couch and stared at me.

"Is this your baby?" She said getting straight to the point

"Ma!!! Chill. Let's start with names. Bri, this is my mama Rochelle and mama this is Bri'Aye." Zay said

"Ok. Now is this yo baby?"

"Yes." I said

"How old are you?"

"I'm 18 years old."

"How old is he?" She said being persistent

"He's less than 1 years old."

"So, you had him at 17, right?"

"Right, and why do you care?" I said getting upset

"Because, I want what's best for my son and a hoe isn't it. Do you know who the father is?"

"Does it matter? That's none of your business." I said

"It will be, if you plan on being with my son." Ms. Rochelle said

"What I do will never be your business. Know what, I'm not about to sit here and be judged when you don't know me. You don't know how much pain it was being raped, or how hard I tried to wake up when I was in a coma. Or how many nights I cried because people like you judge me and not have one clue about my life." I said grabbing my shit and my child and walking out the door.

I don't care what know one thinks all I really need on this earth is my son. He's the only reason why I even stayed this long. Zay came outside and hopped in the door.

"She's sorry and so am I?"

"Yea, you may be but she isn't. She wants what best for you and that's all you can ask for in a mother. At least she's doing her job." I said looking out the window

"She'll come around, baby. You'll see." He said tryna reassure me

"No, I won't. Cuz Ian never wanna see her again." I said being honest
