CHAPTER LXXIX. |HER PRESS CONFERENCE|

Ang ilang mga babae ay mga nagsipagngiti pa kay Neil habang si Lixien naman ay seryoso lang na nakaupo sa harap ng mga ito, patuloy parin ang pag-flash ng kamera dito.

Nang magsipagkalma ang mga ito ay isa-isa na ang mga ito na ngtanong.

“Ms. Lixien Chua bakit ngayon mo lang napiling magpa-interview buhat nang dumating ka ng bansa” Press.

“Because this is the right moment to do this” Diretsong sabi ni Lixien.

“Anong namamagitan sa inyong dalawa ni Mr. Troy Kangnam? Is he you’re said to be Fiancé?” Diretsong sabi ng isang Press.

“No, Troy is a friend of mine. Matagal na kaming magkakilala and we go to the same school in college which they own” Lixien.

“There’s an incident that the media caught the two of you in the Beach Resort in Batangas and according to them the two of you seem to have an intimate relationship. What can you say about this?” Press.

Napapailing naman si Neil sa mga tanong ng mga ito.

“We’re with our friends.Madami kami, hindi lang kaming dalawa ni Troy ang nandun and as I said earlier were just friends. Actually he’s one of my closest friends”  Lixien, paglilinaw nito.

“Then how about the youngest son of Mrs. Kangnam, the new CEO of Kangnam Enterprises Mr. Clyde Kangnam. How are you two related?” Press.

Sandaling natigilan si Lixien. “A-Ahm. We’ve been classmate in College”

“According to our reliable source you two have been couples during your College days. Is it true?” Press.

“Y-Yes. We’ve been” Lixien.

“Then is he your Fiancé?” Press.

Napalunok naman si Lixien sa naging tanong nito parang nanunuyo ang lalamunan niya. 

Nang hindi pa sumagot si Lixien ay si Neil na ang sumagot para ditto.“There’s no Fiancé existing. My sister came here for a vacation and not for an engagement” sagot nito.

Napatingin dito si Lixien pero mabilis ding nagbawi ng tingin. Mukha namang hindi nakumbinsi ang Press sa naging sagot ni Neil.

“Is Mr. Clyde also in the beach resort that you recently been to?” Press.

Napakagat naman ng labi niya si Lixien “Yes. H-He’s part of my group of… friends” Lixien.

Nagpatango-tango naman ang mga Press at mukhang iniistima ang mga sinabi ni Lixien.

“So, Ms. Lixien your saying that both Mr. Troy and Mr. Clyde Kangnam are just your plain acquaintance? And the fiancé issue was not really true?”

Isang tipid na ngiti naman ang isinagot lang dito ni Lixien at wala na itong sinabi pa.

Mukha namang naintindihan ng Press na ayaw na nitong magsalita tungkul sa issue na yun.

“Then how about your career Ms. Chua, How was it being called the Princess of Catwalk?” Masiglang tanong dito ng Press.

Nakangiti naman itong sinagot ni Lixien.

Madami ditong itinanong ang Press tungkul sa career nito at masigla naman silang sinagot ni Lixien.

“Then, Ms. Lixien how long will you be staying here in the Philippines?” Press.

“Actually, I only have one week left before I go back to U.S” Lixien.

Nagulat naman ang mga Press sa sinabi nito.

Sandali ding nabakante ang mga ito ng tanong.

“For the last question Ms. Chua” Tayo ng isang Press “Are you happy?”
