"Sorry." She mumbles.
I can tell she's never really been in a fight prior to this. Or, she seems to be too afraid to hit back.
"If you don't fight back you're going to get hurt." I easily deflect another strike.
The leaf on her hand is the only thing that proves a slight challenge and needs effort to duck from. But the two aren't fully cooperative.
I feign a punch and knee her in the gut. She gasps at the sudden pain and shock, letting me gain an opening for an elbow to the center of her back.
"Can't you fight at all?" I frown. "Or are you just too scared? This isn't a place for you to be having any second thoughts."
She meekly gets up and puts herself in an awkward fighting stance.
I hate hurting someone who has no clue what they're doing.
But I think I'll doing her a favour.
She gives a resistant half hearted swing with her leafy sword which I duck under. I pummell her stomach and chest, hearing air get knocked out of her lungs.
As she staggers, I relentlessly strike her with my boots. Cold metal bashing at her, over and over. I charge a foot and catch her on the side of her face, the shockwave dusting her again.
This is just sad now. It feel less of a tournament and more of a bullying.
I sigh and stride towards her, picking up speed and power as I activate a high jump.
I'll just finish this before the 5 minute mark. No use dragging out a tie.

"What the hell are you doing?!"
Wither hisses at me in belief and irritation as I bite the dust once again. Everything aches and I swallow in air with the clouds of dirt.
I'm sorry. I really... don't know how to fight.
"Then what was that you pulled with Sward and Ginn?"
That wasn't me, that was Gem. I bite back tears as dust particles blind me and prick my eyes. That was Grenendaris's power. I don't have any power of my own. I can't do anything on my own..
"Leif, remember who you're doing this for?"
I do.. I do.. but... I really don't know how..
"..."
I sense her presence drawing closer, a comfort and yet also one of intimidation.
"Let me go out there. You watch."
I'm shocked.
