*Flashback-Melilla is two years old-Third POV*

"Mama! Mama, please!" Melilla cried out,
"You stupid little mutt! Shut your God damn mouth!" growled the woman in the bed next to her as she sat up on the mattress.

Being that Melilla's mother and father had left her at the doorstep of the pack house Melilla was an orphan. The smell of human reeked off her body but it was laced with something that no one understood at the time. Had she been full born werewolf things might have turned out differently for her but things are always meant for a reason.

"I-I'm sorry...I had a dream." Melilla stammered, trying to from words. For a two year old she had a pretty good vocabulary.

"I don't care if you had the worst dream in the fucking world, brat. You need to learn to be silent." the werewolf woman leaned forward.

"Please-" Melilla tried but her pleas were met with her getting backhanded across the face.

"I told you shut the hell up! Nobody gives a damn about you now and nobody ever will." she told Melilla.

For the longest time Melilla believed that awful woman. It was hard not to when she would repeat it on a daily basis as she beat her over and over again. But one night Melilla had a dream.

A lady all in white came to her and held her, rocking her and whispering sweet nothings to her in her ear. She told Melilla how one day things would change, she would find the loves of her life and they would take care of her.

From the moment that she was told this Melilla never stopped believing this. That was until Melilla had been rejected. When that had happened she had been crushed.

Little did she know things would change. She would be loved.

*Melilla's POV*

"Who the heck are you and where the hell am I?" I asked, looking at the boy and girl in front of me. They were twins. You could tell by some of their features.

The girl was the first to move. She was beautiful. Her light brown straightened hair, sweet face, and body any model would be jealous of was driving me crazy just looking at. When she moved closer I flinched away. I couldn't help it. But looking up into her eyes I felt bad for my actions. I didn't want to upset her.

"You are safe. We mean you no harm. My name is Nellie May Thomas and that," Nellie gestured at the young man that still sat, "is my twin brother, Nicolas Mark Thomas. We live with the near by pack."

As Nellie smiles down at me I sniff the air. The scents coming off of both Nicolas and Nellie are addictive. Nellie smells like freshly picked flowers on a rainy spring day and Nicolas smells of freshly mowed grass on a warm summer's day. But the scent that lays just under that one tells me they are vampire.

"But...you're not werewolf." I state, looking at her with wide eyes.

Werewolves and vampires lived in peace most of the time. Every now and then rouges would decide that it was okay for them to pick on a couple of vampires but those rouges were usually locked up or put to death depending on what happened. Of course the same thing happened with vampires. But for the most part werewolves and vampires lived in peace. Alphas across the world had made alliances with vampire covens.

"Where's your coven?" I asked quietly, not daring to look in their eyes. I was taught never to do that. If I did I would get beaten.

Seconds passed by in silence and suddenly I felt a hand cupping my face, tipping my chin up to look up. I was met by the most beautiful man. His face held a frown and I knew right then I would do anything to put a smile on his face.

Slowly I lifted my hand up, pressing my finger tips to his lips. With his free hand he took the hand I had on his mouth, moving my hand so that he could kiss my palm. His actions made me let out a giggle and I saw his eyes brighten as they flickered over my shoulder. All the while sparks shot up through my body.

"We were found in an abandoned coven as babies by the Alpha and Luna who adopted us." the girl, Nellie, told me softly.

Hearing that made my bottom lip tremble. Why would anyone abandon them? They were beautiful in looks alone.

"Shh, baby, it is okay. We have a very happy life. The Alpha and Luna raised us as their own along with their own. We have a kind older brother who will become Alpha next month and a baby sister who can be a pain in the ass. But we are a family. I am a high ranked fighter and Nellie helps take care of children as well as plans many of the Pack's gatherings." Nicolas calmed me.

I moved closer to him, nestling into him. Even sitting down his body easily doubled my size. I didn't know my actual height because I've never been seen by a doctor but I most likely don't even reach five foot.

"What pack are you from?" I ask, laying my head on Nicolas's chest.

"We're from Moon River." Nellie said.

Gasping, I shot up. Years ago when I was just a pup my pack had gone to war with another pack. My now ex pack had lost many and came home weak, talking about the Moon River Pack.

"You-You fought the pack I was in." I told them.

"We have fought many. I am sorry if you lost any dear ones at our cost." Nicolas says, calming me yet again as he pulled me back into his chest.

I shook my head, "No, they hurt me."

At that I herd hisses come from both of them and flinched. Nellie's hand automatically cupped my face.

"Shh, it's okay, baby. I'm sorry. We didn't mean to scare you. We would never want to hurt you." Nellie said, lightly brushing my lips with hers.

Sparks flew as my eyes widened. I liked her touches, she was soft and kind with me. I believed every word she said and she left me wanting more. In fact both did.

Thinking back to my last moment in the cell brought up memories of Molli and what she said. How I have more mates then Damon and Devon.

Nellie and Nicolas were it. I could feel it and I liked it. I was beyond happy to have them. If they accepted me there was no way that I would love them no matter what.

"We could never turn you away. You are ours, my sweet little one." Nicolas whispered in my ear.

I looked at him questioning.

"One of our abilities is to read minds." Nicolas clarified.

I nodded before asking, "What other abilities do you have?"

"Both Nellie and I share the abilities to read minds and play with sight." Nicolas said.

"What does that mean?" I ask.

"Playing with sight means we can make a person see what we want them to see. Say we take off at inhuman speed well we can make others see us continue to walk down the street." Nellie explained to me.

We talked for a while more before they asked me to come back to their pack with them.

I happily agreed to. I wanted to be with my mates no matter what.
