Castle had been waiting by the phone for an hour because Espo couldn't figure out when he should call. When It finally rang. He immediately shot up from his mini nap that he fell into waiting. He answered the phone and couldn't beleive the news he just heard. I just couldn't be true could it? He thought. He was not talking but still on the phone when Esposito had to scream into it just to get his attention. I'm so sorry bro he said when castle cut him off with. No I don't need sorry just tell her to call me please and tell her that's it urgent. He said ok and espo hung up and that's when beckett walked out angered. He asked her about it and all she did was say she didnt want to talk about it. It seemed personal so he passed it and told beckett what castle said: to call him. She got a surprised look and asked when he called. He answered a minute ago and she jetted to the phone pressing speeddial knowing it was his name from all the times she has had to call him.
PHONE CALL:

K- hey you wanted me to call you
R- ya do you mind coming here I think that we need to talk
K- sure but about what
R- I would rather talk her please just hurry I'm freaking out
K- ok I'm on my way

- she hurried out of the precinct getting a glare from the boys but she didnt care she just wanted to see if Rick was all right.

Becketts POV

- I ran out and saw no time to get into my car so I just stole someone's cab and practically yelled at the driver to get a move on it or I wouldn't pay them and to my knowing he sped away.
It took about 2 minutes to get there even though we had to by pass some police. I hurried and payed and ran to the hospital up to his room but when I got there I saw there was someone else in his room and I got worried. I walked to the front desk to see why and was relieved when I heard her say he had to switch rooms. He was in room 147 and soon i was there too. Looking through the glass I saw his eyes look around and they lay dead on me so I walked in. At first it was awkward but I had to know what was going on.
K- hey why'd you call me down here
R- we need to talk
K- ya I agree
R- ok so are you still with demming? ( he blurted out unintentionally)
K- what is this about??
R- well you were kissing him and that hurts I love you and I need you in my life but you keep skipping out on me
K- how did you know about that and I wasn't kissing him. He kissed me and if your spy would have stayed long enough to see and know that after that I pushed home back
R- so what was happening?
K- if you must know I broke up with him I realized I like someone else
R- ok keep going ( a small smile appeared on his face)
K- well to be honest here I realized I love you too.

- I can't beleive I just said that but now that I think I really am relieved
R- good because I love you too and I have waited too long........
He was rambling and she cut him off by kissing him. Leaving a smile on both of their faces, Kate trying to hide her blush Kate walked to the side of his bed in the chair and held his hand tight never wanting to let go.
