Tuluyan nang pumasok si Elisa ng kwarto.
"What are you talking about? Tama ba ang narinig ko?" pabalik-balik ang tingin nito kina Kent at Harley.
"'Di ba Harley you said you have a girlfriend na? What are you guys talking about?"
"What is it??" Tanong pa ulit ni Elisa nang walang magsalita sa dalawa.
"Nothing."
"But I heard you. You said wife. What wife? "
Naglakad si Kent papuntang pintuan tinulak niya 'yun. Pero bago siya lumabas ng tuluyan, nagsalita siya.
"Narinig mo naman pala." Kent said with a hushed voice.
"What about it? You're married?" Elisa painted a smile on her face thinking it was a joke.
"Yes I am."

Naiwang nakatulala si Elisa dahil sa narinig.
Nagulat din si Harley. He didn't know it will be easy for Kent to say these things now. Especially to this girl who is to be his new love team.
"He's married? I don't believe it. Isn't he just 18?"
"Then, don't believe it." Sagot ni Harley.
"And you said you like his wife? How about your girlfriend? Talagang I would never believe it."
"You heard him right? And you heard me. So why are you still asking me again?"
"Is it true? Paano nangyari 'yun?"
"Basta..." Umiiling na nagsimulang maglakad na rin si Harley. "That's what it is."
"It's true then?"
"Paulit-ulit."
"You sound like you've known for a while. Why didn't you tell me?"
"Why should I tell you?" Harley answered with a scoff.
"Sino ba? Is she that girl na malandi kanina? Yung may gawa niyan sa mukha mo?"
"She... has a name."
"Hah! So siya nga! My god, I can't believe this. She's so ordinary. Kelan pa sila kinasal? Pero they weren't talking here at school ah! At paanong gusto mo siya? You're just new here. Kilala mo na ba siya dati?" Tuloy-tuloy na tanong ng babae.
"Basta, kasal na sila. How come you're suddenly interested into talking with me?"
"Paano sila kinasal?" Tanong ni Elisa na hindi pinansin ang mga huling tanong ni Harley. "Arranged marriage 'no?"
Hindi sumagot si Harley.
"I'm right." Elisa deduced herself. "So? He doesn't like her? Am I right?"
"I don't know! Maybe yes, maybe not. Pero one thing I know for sure, I like Isabelle."
'I thought you have a girlfriend! You said so on the phone! So you're just making me jealous ha, hindi pala totoo yun! So you also like playing games na rin ngayon? You even say it directly in my face that you like another girl? Honey, I know that kind of game. I play that way, too."
"I'm not playing games, Elisa. I really like her."
"Paano nangyari yun?"
"Maybe it's because of you."
