Words on the Wall

Hey, guys! This chapter is basically just a prequel to the Part matchmaker thingy chapter. Solangelo is bored again.

"Hey," Will gazed at the ceiling.

"Hey," Nico gazed at the wall.

"What are we gonna do?

"I don't know, idiot."

"Why am I an idiot this time?"

"I dunno."

They sat there. Until Nico got a text. He sat up on the couch.

Nope, not a text. An alert. Someone comment on his picture on Tumblr. Nico posted a thousand pictures. He clicked on it to refresh his memory. It was a picture that he had taken; one of the buildings on his college campus that had a bunch of graffiti all over it. Well, there's an idea, NICO thought.

"Up to doing something illegal?" he grinned and stood.

That got Will's attention. "No!"

"Too bad. Get up."

"No!"

"Yes! C'mon. It's not that illegal."

"Oh, ye of little super ego, that doesn't matter. It's still illegal."

"I don't care. 'Mon."

"Whhhhhy?"

"Because."

And so, Nico managed to drag Will out of the door.

"Express your feelings!"

Will looked oddly at the wall. "Anything?"

"Sure. Like..."

Nico walked up to the wall and spray painted the message he felt like conveying now:

LET DARKNESS FALL HERE.

"Wow," Will was unimpressed. "Nice."

"Shut up," Nico shook the bottle.

"Fine. I'll do it. Just get me a cheeseburger from McDonald's, m'kay?"

"Fine, Princess."

And so Nico left. Will looked at the wall. Everything on it was so dark... he scratched his chin.

"Express myself, huh?"

Nico looked at Will's work, then glared at him.

"Seriously?"

"Yep," Will grinned.

"...."

"Wanna ditch?"

Nico sighed. "Sure."

And so they left. On the wall, there were the words:

LET DARKNESS FALL HERE

AND LET THE SUN RISE.
