Ignorance

246 21 9

Fighting glares of light escaping the glass

Whispering of faults, raining down onto the empty voice

Droughts are a reminiscence of the past

Walls of concrete scatter across cities of noise

Eliciting colours too faded to contrast

Ignorance against the beautiful, starving the 'wrong'

Flickering flames attacking the blackened vast

Footsteps rushing and circling along

Crowded streets with crowded minds, running too fast

Crashes of intimacy, swept under as nothing

Words judging the serene, falling in last

Ignorance kicking, the silence breaking

Presenting an unraveling mask
