Everyone just stares. Who the hell does he think he is? He doesn't know me enough to joke about that. My friends and family come first. Well it's just friend now. Loki's more than a friend and everyone else is gone. So, it's just Thor.
The door opened. Slater walked in. It's good to see he's up and walking aorund. That his injury wasn't too serious.
"Yes," Fury asked.
"There's more of them," Slater said.
------------------
Everyone stared at Slater either confused or dumbfounded.
"What do you mean there's more of them." Fury asked.
"There's more people like Thor and Araceli," Slater said.
I stood up. Everyone stared at me.
"How are they like Thor and I," I ask.
"They're dressed like Thor first was," Slater said.
"Where are they?"
"At another base."
"Take Thor and Araceli over there," Fury told Slater.
"Yes sir," Slater said.
Thor stood up. Thor and I walked out with Slater infront of us.
"Who do you think it is," I ask Thor.
"It could be anyone," Thor said.
"Hopefully it's family or friends. Well you're family not mine."
"Why my family and not yours?"
I let that one slip. Thor doesn't know about the who deal with Loki thing. Why would he? What's it matter now? I'm no longer working with/for Loki. It doesn't even matter now.
"My parents weren't the nicest of people," I say.
"How so," Thor asked.
"They were dedicated to Loki. So dedicated that they gave me up to him."
"What do you mean?"
"My parents didn't like you. Instead they liked Loki. Loki was their god. They gave me to Loki like nothing. I wasn't their child anymore. They weren't my parents anymore."
"Why didn't you tell me this before?"
"What good would it have done? I was a child at mercy then. Now I've grown up. I can't keep holding this grudge against them. That won't get me anywhere. Telling you would've upset you, maybe hurt you. I don't like it when you're not yourself. I couldn't tell you. I wouldn't tell you."
"Did Loki ever hurt you?"
"No. I only did simple things."
"You should've told me before."
"Probably. Now you know."
We reached a car. Slater got in the drivers side. I sat in the back. Thor sat in the back as well. Ramirez gets in the front passenger side. Well he appeared out of the blue. Looks like he didn't get any serious injuries. It wasn't long before we began driving. Thor is staring at me. I know he's upset with me not telling him the whole Loki thing. It doesn't matter now. Can't really change it. He's probably going to ask me about it later. Which I wish he wouldn't. It doesn't really concern Thor. He already knows Loki didn't hurt me. So, there's nothing to worry about.
"How many people were there," Thor asked.
"Four," Ramirez said.
"One of them directly asked for you," Slater said.
