- 23 - not a princess anymore

*2 weeks later*
My door opens and I slam my diary shut before sliding it under my pillow
"Oh, hi Brooklyn" I say and stand up
"I'm gonna have a shower" I say and walk to the bathroom
*Brooklyn's POV*
I open the door and see Kelly look up before slamming the book she's holding closed and shoving it, along with the pen under her pillow, she's been acting strange lately
"Oh, hi Brooklyn" she says and stands
"I'm gonna have a shower" she says and walks to her bathroom, curiosity gets the better of me and I pick up the book, it's a diary? I flick to the latest page, I see her beautiful handwriting and my heart drops when I read it
I don't think he even loves me,
Why does he even stay? It's not like I need him,
He thinks I need to be protected, he acts like I'm a fragile piece of glass,
I hate him, I hate him, I Hate him but I gue-
It stops there and a tear drops on the page, she doesn't love me...
"Brooklyn?" Kelly comes in and I scowl at her, she's leaving me
*Kelly's POV*
"Brooklyn?" I ask as I see him sitting with my diary sitting on his lap, he scowls at me and yells
"You don't think you need protecting?"
"Well I'm not a baby!" I yell back
"You hate 'him'?" He yells
"Yes I do... I guess, I just, I dunno" he's leaving us, me and mum, dad's leaving us
"I hate you" he roars
"Why? I'm the one that should be mad, you fucking read my diary" I say
"I can't believe you wouldn't tell me, you obviously don't love me" why would he...
"I didn't tell you because know one is supposed to know, so what? I have a secret, shoot me"
"I wish I could"
"What did I do wrong?" I ask, tears streaming down my cheeks
"Don't pretend you don't know, you want me to leave? I'll leave... Were done"
"Brooklyn"
"No Kelly, I'm out of here" he grabs his suitcase and throws everything in it he walks out and I hear the front door slam
"Brooklyn" I sob and fall to the floor,
I'm not a princess anymore.
