We climb out my window and onto the rooftop, careful not to spill the bowl of chocolate covered strawberry's. Maddox leaves my window open then sits next to me. We lean back against the house, our knees brushing against each other.

Taking a strawberry between my index finger and thumb, I bite into it. I moan softly, making Maddox chuckle. I finish the strawberry, revealing the chocolate on my fingers. I lick the chocolate off my thumb then Maddox grabs my hand. "What -"

My question is lost is the late night breeze. Looking me in the eye, he takes my index finger between his lips. My breath catches as his tongue swirls around my fingertip. When he pulls away, I swear I see him blush. "I'm sorry," he mumbles.

Wondering what he tastes like, I slip my indeed finger between my lips, surprising both of us. He pulls my hand away before pressing his lips to mine. For a moment I think I'm dreaming but I know I'm not. This is real.

Our lips move in sync as I slowly part my lips. His tongue dips into my mouth, exploring my mouth. He cups my cheek as his lips continue to work their magic. It's over all too soon and we pull away breathless.

Realizing what I just did - with my step brother of all people - I take a deep breath before leaning my forehead against his chest. He slips his arms around my waist and he pulls me closer. "That..." I begin, but I can't continue - I'm speechless.

"Was amazing? Can't happen again? I know," he sighs.

Even though I know it's wrong, I can't pull away. For some unknown reason I want to stay with him. "I'm tired," I say.

Nodding, he let's me go. Almost immediately, I miss his warmth. He helps me up and back into the window. I pass him the bowl and he heads for the door. "I'll be right back. Don't go falling asleep on me," he says.

I lay down in my bed, thinking about the events that just occurred. I kissed my step brother. Unbelievable.

Lightly brushing my fingertips across my lips, I smile. Just thinking about what happened makes me wish it'd happen again. But it can't, my conscience snaps. I know it can't.

I push my thoughts aside when he enters my room. Using my elbows, I sit up slightly. "I'll let you get some sleep," he says, leaning down.

He places a hand on either side of me, his faces inches from mine. Even though I want to beg him to stay, I know I can't. Instead, I whisper, "Goodnight."

"Goodnight."

His head bobs down and he kisses me again. This time, it's different, but I can't pinpoint why. I savor the kiss, mesmerized by the way his lips move against mine.

When he pulls away, I want to pull him back to me. But I don't. He looks at me one more time before walking out the door. "Sweet dreams, pleasant nightmares, princess," he murmurs.

When I wake up the next morning, the house is spotless, as if there was never even a party. Our parents will be home in half an hour and I still haven't seen Maddox. After I finish my breakfast, I head for the stairs but stop when I hear a noise. I take quiet steps to the laundry room and see Maddox looking through a basket of clean clothes.

His beautiful, damp chest is on full display with only a towel wrapped around his waist. It hangs dangerously low on his hips, allowing me to drink in every line decorating his torso. "Good morning," I say, leaning in the doorway.

Grabbing a pair of basketball shorts, he turns to me. "Morning, princess."

He takes a few steps towards me, trying to get around me but I don't let him. I step in front of him, placing my hand gently on his chest. "No morning kiss?" I ask, raising an eyebrow.
