-Calum's POV-

*2 months later*

I sat down on my bed and ran my fingers through my brown curly hair as I scribbled words down on the crumpled piece of paper. My heart broke as I remembered the promise she told me to make.

' Within a minute I was all packed up,
I've got a ticket to another world,
I don't wanna go,
I don't wanna go,
The silent words are hard to speak,
When your thoughts are all I see,
"Don't ever leave," she said to me,

When we both fall asleep underneath the same sky.
To the beat of our hearts at the same time.
So close but so far away
'.

The first few words that I had written weren't about me since I hadn't left Sydney. April and her family were the ones who left, they moved to California and because of timezones we won't be able to speak as much.

If I said that I was going to miss her, it would be a huge understatement.

April was the reason that I would wake up with a smile on my face everyday because I knew that I was going to see her. She was my definition of perfect. She made me realise the difference between pretty and beautiful.

She taught me how to love, she helped me when I needed advice. She was there through everything, through the good and the bad times of my life.

Without her being here, everything will be different.

Nothing is going to be the same..
