41. Sincere Apologies

August POV

"August, calm down. Just tell her the truth and house you feel okay" Miracle coached me as I waited for Koko to come over and talk.

"I got it, I just want her to believe me" I responded while drinking my coke

Just as I was about to sit down the doorbell rang "There she is" Miracle said as we both walked towards the door.

I opened it and there she was still in her church clothes looking good.

"Hi Koko" Miracle said and Koko paid her no attention

"I just want you to know that I tried nothing with August and he definitely didn't try anything with me. He loves you girl, hell he everything we talked about he brought you up. Just hear him out Koko" Miracle said and Koko nodded her head

"I'll see you later Yung, don't fuck up ya chance." She said as she walked past Koko and to her car.

"Are you going to invite me in or make me stand out here in the cold air" She asked me holding her arms and I stepped to the side

"My bad ma, why you didn't use ya key" I asked her as we walked into my kitchen

"Didn't think we were on good terms enough for me to just walk in" she turned and looked at me

"So are we going to talk or not" she folded her arms across her chest

"Baybeh, I did nothing with Miracle except talk about you" I said and looked down and then up into her eyes so she knew I was telling the truth

"I believe you" she responded and I smirked at her

"But I still feel disrespected" she said and my smirk fell off my face.

"What you said to me was unacceptable. Why didn't you believe that I would tell you when I was ready instead of spazzing the fuck out on me.

I did nothing for you to say what you said August and that shit really hurt me. You being loyal to me isn't just you cheating, it's you respecting me as your woman and how I feel. You know I don't like Miracle so why would you be around her period.

You proving your love and loyalty is when you let EVERYONE know I'm your one and only. It's when you don't say or do things to hurt them. And you don't throw things from their past in their face. You just love them through their flaws and all." She said to me and I hung my head cause I really hurt her.

"I know and I'm sorry, but you're always on me about opening up. But when I tried to talk to you, you wouldn't tell me a single thing." I told her

"Because I didn't even know what to say. I just needed to calm down before I could even tell you. He was my ex and seeing him just brought up old memories. So yea you were right, I used to fuck him. That's what made me drink and cry" she started to tear up

"August you have to stop saying things when you're angry. Yea you might be upset and you might apologize later but the hurt of those words stick." She looked up at me

"I know ma, and I truly am sorry" I wiped her eyes

"I forgive you, and I'm sorry I ignored you" She apologized and nodded my head

"I love you baybeh girl" I looked in her gorgeous almond shaped brown eyes

"I love you too Yung. Gimme kiss" she smirked

I leaned down and placed my lips on hers. I bit her lip for entrance and she opened up to me without hesitating. I deepened the kiss and she moaned against my lips.

"Take ya ass upstairs cuz I owe you" I smacked her ass and she bit her lip.

She looked at me and started to walk out of the kitchen "Gone na" I said and she turned and went up the stairs.
