"Thank you so much for stopping by Lee, I will sit down and have a conversation with Amber about everything. Hopefully we can make a conference call happen soon." I hugged Lee Daniels, the writer of empire, as we concluded this meeting
"No thank you Autumn, and most definitely have to make that happen. I'm so proud of you for opening your own form, you deserve it; you shouldn't be working for anyone you're too brilliant." He stated as I walked him the to elevator.
"Thank you so much, I greatly appreciate that." I said just as the elevator doors opened and it was Mrs. Grace with the papers for my house
"I will see you later Lee" I waved as he stepped into the elevator and Mrs. Grace stepped out
"That's Lee Daniels" she smiled
"It sure is" I laughed
"Well I have your papers, you ready to sign them and become a home owner" She waved the folder back and forth as we walked to my office
"Let's get to it" I pushed the glass so she could walk in
"Sign here....here...here...and here" she pointed to all the places for me to sign and I did just that
"Well Ms. Autumn, you are officially a home owner" she handed me the keys to the house wrapped neatly in a cute box and then did this lil dance in her seat and I laughed
"Mrs. Grace please don't do that" I shook my head
"Girl hush, I'm turning up for you for a quick second" she started doing it again and I laughed even hard to the point I had tears in my eyes.
I looked up and saw August standing outside my door with a vase full of flowers. I don't know he thought that was gone do because I hate flowers, they don't smell good they smell like dirt people always saying they smell no they don't stop that lying, and they die in 3 days.
He pushed the door open "Wazzam ma, hey Mrs. G what you doin hea" He asked "Oh Autumn was just signing the papers for her new hou-" I cut her off by clearing my throat really loud and eyed her and she looked at me crazy "She signed for her house" she repeated. DAMN! Her ass ain't get the message.
"Oh really" August looked at me and I rolled my eyes "Yes, I'm going to get going Autumn, you enjoy that house and call me if you need me" She grabbed the papers, put them in the folder, and left out.
August sat the flowers down on my desk and sat down in the chair in front of it. Lord I didn't want him the know yet.
August POV
I looked at her and she just stared at me blankly "I bought these for you" I gestured to the flowers "Thanks and I'm not being petty but you can keep them. I hate flowers I told you that, they don't smell good and they die fast." She said straightening papers up on her desk.
"Dammit" I mumbled forgetting that she did tell me that "My bad ma, just wanted to do somethin nice afta' bein such an asshole yestaday." I explained "Yea" she said with her lips perched up like she didn't believe me.
"Huh sign these" she handed me some papers and I did as told and handed them back
"August why are you here?" She slouched in her chair holding a stack of papers in her hand like I was annoying her
"I told you I wanted to do something nice for you. And I wanted to apologize for the way I acted towards you. But I do want to know why you didn't tell me you found a house?" I eyed her
"Because I just bought it yesterday and obviously I wasn't your favorite person yesterday so I didn't get a chance to tell you" she blandly said
"When are you moving" I asked
