Pridneion

I'm cold and all alone,

My happiness a drone.

That just won't function

In all the confusion.

I seem to have lost my way.

Did you really take it as a joke?

I simply asked you if you were okay.

You've taken my freedom now I can't cope.

Why did you leave me behind?

Have I ever dealt to you a crime?

I saved your life but pride got in your way.

Did you ever care, you wouldn't say.

So why should I care at all?

You only shoved me away.

Now it's time that I stood tall.

You shoved me hard but I won't give way. 

I've risen high into the sky.

You have no right to question why,

I wouldn't take you with me if I could.

Alas my kindness proves i should.

I take you with me,

Help you once again.

Finally you agree,

You'll forever be my friend.

A/N: Who likes the name of my poem? I completely made it up using the words pride, kindness, and rejection.
