What Has Happened?

I looked into those big blue eyes

The perfect replica of mine

My love for you I can't define.

I miss when you were oh so kind.

Remember when you kissed me on the head

Giving me a hug, before I closed my eyes.

I wake up to your warming smile

You tickled me until my face went red. 

Suddenly you turned cold

Always being rude and snarky

What happened to being best friends

I thought that we would last forever.

Why'd you leave me down here in the ashes

Picking up the pieces is just too hard

Why'd you go telling me that I can fly

Took your advice and now I'm about to die

I'm so confused

Was all your love really a lie

What part of me do you despise

I guess I wasn't smart enough to realize:

As I looked into your light blues eyes,

the perfect replica of mine

They used to be a spirit lifting blue

Now it seems a storms intruded

What happen to sister and brother

I thought that we would last forever

Why did I think we would stay the same?

But no matter what happens,

I will always love you.
