The day finally ended and I headed home.
I unlocked the door and entered the house finding Noah.
"So, how was school?"
"It's school how good do you want it to be."
"True."
I dropped my backpack and headed upstairs.
I flopped on my bed and played on my laptop.
My phone started buzzing

Hey Maddy its Shawn, Do you think we could get another study session in this week, since we have that test coming up?
To unknown number:
Yeah sure! Anytime.

What about right now?

Umm... Okay sure do you wanna meet at Tims or your house?
From Unknown number:
My house is fine. I'll text you the address.
I programmed his name in my phone and grabbed my backpack. I headed downstairs and out the door.
Shawn texted me his address and I headed to his house.
I arrived at his house and knocked on the door.
A short 12-ish girl answered the door. She looked like Shawn so I assumed it was his sister.
"Hi." She spoke.
"Hi, I'm looking for Shawn."
I heard loud footsteps rushing down a staircase.
"You must be the girl he talks ab—"
"Aaliyah!"
"Hi Maddy, come in." He gestured.
I followed Shawn to what looked liked his room. It was the typical boys room. Blue walls, clothes everywhere.
"Sorry I didn't have time to cleanup."
"No it's fine."
We sat down on his bed and I brought my books out.
We studied for hours. He was getting really frustrated and the veins in his neck and arms were popping out.
"I just can't do this!" He shouted, startling me.
"Yes, you can." I said resting my hand on his thigh not in a sexual manner just trying to calm him down.
His eyes softened and he continued working.
"Shawn, dinner!" His mother screamed.
"Would you like the stay?"
"Umm... No it's okay my brother are probably waiting for me."
" You can stay it's know bother."
"No it's okay, but thanks for the invite."
We walked downstairs and met his family. His family looked like the average happy family, but looks can be deceiving.
"Do I need to set another place setting." His mom asked.
"No thanks I was just leaving." I said heading to the door.
Shawn opened it and walked me outside.
I started down the steps when I felt a hand pull me back up. It was Shawn's.
"You know I've wanted to do this for a long time." He said tucking a stray hair behind my ear. He rested his hand on my cheek.
OMG he's gonna kiss me. I'm not ready for this. I barely know him. Before his lips could reach mine I blurted the first thing that came to my head.
"I have a boyfriend!"
