Kagami Taiga- Dogs

"(L/N)-kun!" you heard a deep voice calls out to you.

You turn your head to see Kagami Taiga running towards you panting slightly. He came to a halt in front of you and put his hands on his knees, catching his breath.

"May I help you Kagami-kun?"

"U-um I-I was just wondering if u-um you could tutor me in Biology? Since you uh, you know, got the best results on the test and I got the worst" he nervously scratched the back of his head, avoiding eye contact as he felt the blood rush to his cheeks.

You smiled at him making his heart thump. (Doki Doki)

"Of course Kagami-kun, when would you like me to tutor you?"

His red eyes gleamed in excitement,

"We can do it after school! I mean, o-only if you are free a-and you want to and-"

You cut off his rambling with a giggle,

"That's fine, I'll meet you at the gates after school ends"

"Arigatou, (L/N)"

The bell rang in your ears, signalling that your next class was about to begin and if you didn't start moving quickly you would be late.

"Well, I'll see you later, Kagami-kun" you ran in the direction of you next class waving at him.

He waved back and let a huge grin spread across his face as he shoved his hands in his pockets and made his way to his next class.

You lent against the cool, metal bars of the school gates, patiently waiting for the red head to appear.

You had always admired Kagami. How he was so motivated and determined to do his best at everything. You found his hot-hotheadedness somehow cute. He would always have this sparkling look in his eyes. Especially when he was playing basketball.

You remembered his game with Too. Against the ace Aomine Daiki.

It took your breath away.

Seeing two boys in the Zone fight on-on-one was almost beautiful. The fluency of their movements and the travelling at the speed of lightning is still engraved in your mind.

"Oi! (L/N)-kun"

"Finally!" you let out a sigh of relief,

"Sorry to keep you waiting (L/N)-kun, I just had a meeting with the basketball team"

You let out an 'Ah' of understanding and nod your head slightly,

"Shall we go?" you ask tilting your head in the direction you were going to walk in,

"Y-yes, but um could we just take a small stop to Maji Burger on the way to your house"

"Sure, let's go"

"I'll take twenty cheeseburgers" Kagami said to the staff behind the ordering counter, her jaw went slack in shock,

"U-um, could your repeat that please? I'm not quite sure if I heard you right"

"Twenty cheeseburgers please" Kagami repeated and the waitress widened her eyes in shock but smiled,

"I'll be right back with your order" with that she rushed off into the back, making you chuckle slightly.

Kagami slumped onto the counter and turned to face you.

"Why do you order so much to eat?" he just shrugged and answered with,

"I'm hungry, school and talk about basketball make me hungry"

"Yeah but twenty?" you say in disbelief,

"Hey, I'm a growing man, I need my food" he said and pounds his chest. You let out a small laugh which makes Kagami's heart thump against his chest.

Once the waitress had come back with Kagami's food and he paid you both left the fast food joint and you watched as Kagami scarfed down his cheeseburgers, offering you a bite every so often which you graciously took.

Your keys jingled and clinked together as you grabbed them out of a secure pocket in your bag and you unlocked the door to your house. You were immediately greeted by your (favourite type of dog), (dog's name).

You crouch down to return the greeting and hug your loyal and loving companion,

"Hey, boy! You hungry?" he licked your face in reply and you giggled.

You heard a girlish shriek come from behind you as your dog went to greet Kagami.

You turned to see Kagami hiding behind the door, trembling in fear.

"Kagami-kun, are you okay?"

"I-I'm f-fine" his voice shook as he spoke. Your dog let out a bark and Kagami let out another girly shriek.

"Kagami-kun, are you afraid of dogs?"

"N-no" your dog barked again and he jumped, "Okay, maybe I am"

You let out a chuckle,

"Oi! It isn't funny"

"It's okay he won't bite, come in."

Kagami hesitated but ran past your dog and up your stairs as quickly as possible. You followed him and led him to your room.

"Okay so that's why mistletoe and it's tree have a parasitic relationship and not a mutualistic relationship." You finished explaining parasitic and mutualistic relationships to Kagami, watching as he lazily took notes.

"Eh? This is so boring, how do you like this stuff"

"Well, I've always had an interest in biology and I want to be a doctor when I'm older so I will need this for my future."

He lent his head against his hand and studied you.

He noticed the little flecks of (whatever colour you want) in your eyes and how they emphasized the (E/C). He noticed the way you would flick you glossy (H/C) locks out of your face and how the little baby hairs would continue to kiss your face. He saw the way you would stick out your tongue a little whenever you were focusing and he found this extremely cute.

You felt his eyes burning into you and you turned to face him.

"Is something the matter, Kagami-kun? You're a little red, are you unwell?" You reached out to touch his forehead but he grabbed you wrist and brought you closer to him.

You both froze at his actions.

You felt a little nudge on your back sending you forward and colliding your lips with Kagami's slightly chapped yet soft ones.

His eyes widened for a split second but he fluttered them shut and began to kiss you cupping your cheek with his calloused hand.

You pulled away a blush dusting over your cheeks.

You looked behind you to see (dog's name) wagging his tail looking almost proud of himself.

Kagami spots the dog too but doesn't back away,

"Heh, I kind of like that dog now"

I find Kagami so hard to write for. Idk why?
