SUBJECT REPORT:
Subject 1

RESPONSE:
Subject 01 was said to be 'programmed to imitate human behavior too well' and 'able to depict human emotions to an unnerving extent'. Rejected, and asked to discard subject 01 immediately.

STATUS:
Currently lives in my quarters. Is not aware of the circumstances of his being here. Will update as other information is gathered.

NOTES:
I wasn't able to destroy Zai. Naming him was a mistake, as it only made me feel an attachment to him even more...
Perhaps it wouldn't be too bad if he were to stay with me. My colleagues are not aware of the decision to get rid of him either, so it should be alright.

SUBJECT REPORT:
Subject 2

RESPONSE:
Subject 02's wiring had sustained damage due to one of the committee members in an attempt of a sabotage.
Rejected, and asked to discard subject 02. A warning was issued for presenting a faulty subject.

STATUS:
Dormant. Incapable of being shut down due to the faulty wiring in her systems. Will update as other information is gathered.

NOTES:
I was made sure not to name the Subject 02 this time and it was significantly better. I felt less attachment to Subject 02 compared to what I felt for Zai- he could almost be considered my own son, at this point.

SUBJECT REPORT:
Subject 3

RESPONSE:
Immediate rejection. They were not impressed by its readiness to kill, and inhuman behavior. Immediately ordered Subject 03 to be shut down. Another warning was issued regarding the unprofessionalism at work.

STATUS:
Dormant. Partially active- will turn active if trespassers enter.

NOTES:
I wasn't too sure about Subject 03... it felt as though I made him too inhuman. He makes a very good guard to protect important documents, so I've programmed him to activate if the security system goes off.

SUBJECT REPORT:
Subject 4

RESPONSE:

STATUS:

NOTES:

That's weird.... There were no documents that have been filed about me.

I looked through all the files, but nothing came up. There was a file about Zai however...

XX/XX/XXXX- Zai has been doing very well. He gets along with the staff well, it seems. Some of the female staff like to date him, and he gets embarrassed a lot when they do. Of course, they are not aware of the circumstances that cause him to be here. To my surprise, they've yet to question as to why he is here... Perhaps that is a good sign.

XX/XX/XXXX- It seems that Zai has developed an interest in drawing. He occasionally creates pieces of art that are rather complex, surprising to say the least, considering that I had not programmed him to have such abilities... A sign on sentience? I'm not entirely sure, but I've told him to keep a journal on how he feels about every day. Though he does obey my instructions, it seems that he does things that I've not programmed him to do.

XX/XX/XXXX- I ended up in the infirmary due to over exertion. Zai came to visit me, but... what shocked me was the fact that he was crying. I definitely did not program him to be able to do as such. Perhaps his 'tear ducts' were simply how the body had been thought to express emotion. Yet the sight of an android crying was one that was... too human.

I fell silent for a moment. I didn't hate Zai at all, he was like a close friend of mine. But... why doesn't mother ever mention about me?

Did she forget about me?

No... she couldn't have.....
