Chapter 27. First Hug

"E-explain to y-you.. W-what?" I stuttered while trying my best to meet his eyes. He chuckles while looking away but in any minute, he turned cold, leaving a piece of huff. "C'mon, don't you act innocent, I know every of your moves, don't be shy about it. Tell me about what happened to you with the other members," My eyes round wide in shock. What does he mean about what happened to me with the members? "W-what are you t-talking about? I.. I-I didn't do something wrong! Never be will!" I defended as I shook my head from left to right.

"Seriously, you really enjoyed your time with them, aren't you? What happened to you? I thought you're loyal to me? But I was wrong! You betrayed me!" He suddenly shouted in front of me. My hands and feet got cold in nervousness with my eyes still round in shock, my legs are trembling and wobbling like a jelly as I slightly shake my head in defense.

"It's not what you think it is, Baekhyun! The other members and I are having time together! Having a time of fun that they are sometimes free because of you! They confessed to me that you didn't let them set for freedom but instead of doing their task! Don't you feel guilty about it, huh? Are you still not satisfied that they are doing their best to do their job but you still didn't let them give some freedom? That's what we have some time with each other! Do you understand?" I almost exclaime but seriously, I still got my respect for him as the Black Pearl leader.

"Yes I understand what they feel for not being free! Because of they are now the members of Black Pearl, they need to do their responsibility. It just takes time Taeyeon, ever since you entered this life, they became more spoiled, you wanna know why? Because you always spoiled them to do what they want to do and you'll do it all by yourself! I still got a pity for you Taeyeon, I still have!" He shouted, squeezing both of my shoulders.

I remain still and frozen on my position because of his sudden actions. "W-what's y-your problem a-about.. It?" I stutter again when my voice softens, "The problem in this situation is you," I immediately dart my eyes to him to find his expression, very serious indeed.

"What's t-the problem about m-me–", "You're the center of this problem! Why? Because of your stupid actions! My Angel before really did act what I'll act! Don't show your real personality to the members that you're a real nice person! You're spoiling them, don't you get that? You're spoiling every members," He says but still, I shake my head as I yanked both of his hands away from my shoulder.

"Sorry Mr. Byun but I can't do that. A true person will never show off like a true beast, you know what? You're not a person anymore, you're more like beast, lion among men," I said and take steps backwards.

He chuckled and pinch the bridge of his nose, in a second, he huffs once again and look straight into my eyes. "Tsk! So now I'm the beast? A beast? What if I'll show you my good side then, will you take back your words for telling myself as a beast, huh? Now that I know your true color, I doubt that, that will always been you. You disappoint me so much Taeyeon, remember what I've told you at the restaurant together with you and Sehun, I frankly told you that I follow the both of you, wanna know why? Because I'm just protecting you away from the people who will hurt you, knowing that you're now the new Angel.. My past ones always do what I want to tell her, she's very obedient than you are–"

"Don't tell me what's your past because I don't care! I'm different from the Angels of yours! I'm also like the other members.. Want to be set free.." I cut him off as I almost whisper the last words.

"Wait a minute, why are the members are so close to you, huh? They never knew what's the real you ever since, but if I'll tell them right away, will they still be your friends?" He tried to show me a victorious smirk, I just shut my eyes in anger as I clench my hands into a ball of fists. Why is he telling me about this right now when I'm not in the mood? He really wanted me to give some of this, huh? "Why are you seriously telling this to me right now Baekhyun? Why?" I yelp. "Because I want to give you a warning to step away from them before it gets too late! I want you to–"

"And what's the matter about the members? Why are you such a jealous kind of a person? I'm just adjusting myself being with this new life and be friends with them!" I can't control myself but to let out my anger.

"Yes! You got it right, woman! I did this because I'm afraid that you're going to develop yourself with the members you would love! I shouldn't have pick you as my Angel, now that I know you're not really loyal to your Namjachingu! You're really not satisfied with me! You need someone else!" I don't know why but I suddenly felt my knees are trembling, all of the sudden, a drop of tear escape from my eyes.

"Baekhyun, if what're you thinking right now.. I-it's not true.. You're probably mistaken.. I tell you.." My voice calmed down after that hurting words Baekhyun just said as my tears are directly falling to my cheeks.

Taeyeon continuously sob while Baekhyun remains frozen on his position, seeing Taeyeon whips that made him to feel guilty for what he just said. He wanted to take back his words but it's now too late, too late for an apology and too late for explaining, he already let out his anger in front of the weak Taeyeon.

She take off her eyeglass as she wipe away her tears that made Baekhyun stared at her for a moment. Baekhyun's eyes widened in horror because of Taeyeon's natural beauty without the glasses. She's.. She's.. Very.. B-beautiful.. He thought and shut his eyes for a moment, but when he opened his eyes again, he find Taeyeon already wore glasses and turned her back, probably ready to leave.

"I guess.. You're right.. Think about it what you wanted to think.. But I'm telling you, I don't want to break the closeness and friendship with them, you have nothing to do with it because it's my decision and this is my life. You have no rights after all, but if you'll try to stop me, you can't, because I'm hardheaded, I want to be free from rules, being away from what's wrong and what's right, I don't care about your rules for me as long as I can be with them to keep our closeness strong and tightened. I didn't know.. Sometimes I realize.. Why are the students so afraid of you? Because you're not open with everyone and you're not that nice as what I've expected..

I will not take back my words anymore, yes you are a beast, a very furious beast.. Why am I involve with this life anyways? Why did I came up with this miserable life being with you? Shall I regret this chance that I accepted your offer to be your official Black Pearl? Maybe I shouldn't.. Because I have this task to do to make all the members be open with someone else, that'll teach them some real, proper and true manners away from your so-called rules. I shouldn't have notice you from the start, but.. because of my clumsiness on the very first day, here I am.. With you.. Scolded with no reason,"

She turned her back. Wow.. I didn't know that her simple words can break my feelings into death.. Wait, what? Why am I hurting anyways? It's just a words right? But a part of me tried to apologize and say that I'm sorry.. But h-how..? It's now gone into a mess! Stupid Baekhyun!

I don't know why but I found myself approaching her and suddenly pulled her wrist, it surprise her of course, I didn't waste my time and pulled her into my arms as her head landed on my chest. "Naega.. Neoreul Mianhae.." I whispered as I felt a hot liquid on my chest, and then I realize.. She cried once again..
