Chapter 13: Divad
I pause outside her door and lean against it. This is dangerous. We are feeling. It's too much. I don't want to feel. She's forcing me. I cast a glance at her door. I know what I have to do, I've always known what I have to do, I just couldn't bare to do it. I remember the first time I met her.

It's her. My match. She's not Abes. Abes is tall and blonde and beautiful. She practically radiates strength. I look down into Aram's ocean blue eyes and smile. She smiles back, but there's something in her eyes. Something I've never seen before in this world. I recoil. Should I fear her? She feels. Heartbreak. It's in her eyes. It's wrong. Wrong. Wrong wrong wrong. I look up at Abes. I do understand what she's feeling though. I do. I look back to Aram. This is my match. I'll be there for her. No matter what. I'll protect her from being different. I'll save her from herself.

But I can't. I can't save her from herself. So I must go to someone who can. The counsel. I shiver. Even the name sparks fear.
