The next morning Ben was glowing and he felt a difference in the world as he had found the girl he had been lusting after for a whole year. He went back to the hotel and met up with Dan to whom he explained everything about Rachel and how he had just spent the night with her. At first with Dan being a sceptical person he laughed at Ben thinking he was kidding but playing off Ben's facial response he realised his friend wasn't lying and he had actually found the girl he came to town for. He congratulated Ben as he was one of the very few people who could understand how much Ben had been craving the moment when he would finally meet Rachel.

A though that never occurred to Ben was the identity of the girl he met in the bar who told him where Rachel was, they never actually had a real conversation with one another. He had completely forgotten her but little did he know they would soon meet again this time at food store. Emily was a typical small town girl, she wore scrappy jeans, plain t shirts, a black jacket and was always seen with a small dark purse strapped over her left shoulder. Ben saw her paying the cashier and went over to thank her know he found Rachel. Emily seemed happy for him and offered to show him around town as she had some free time on her hand. The two walked through the woods and got a better understanding of each other, Emily was a college graduate who had missed out on the opportunity to move to new York due to her commitments to her then boyfriend Alan. Ben felt he and Emily shared an odd closeness and so he revealed to her the pain he suffered when Erin broke up with him. Although they had been talking for almost an hour, Ben hadn't mentioned that he and Rachel met though an online relationship and Emily was completely oblivious to this. Rachel saw them walking together and so she went over to join them and informed Ben that she and Emily are good friends from high school. Ben was surprised as Emily never mentioned this. Rachel leaned forward to kiss Ben, "okay well I refuse to play third wheel so im heading off, I'll see you guys later" Emily walked off back to her house and Rachel offered to give Ben a tour from that moment onwards. As their tour of the town reached an exhausting climax, they decided to stop by at the bar before heading home. Ben was still taken aback as to how he and Rachel had formed a relationship so quickly when he had always expected her to be with someone else or not interested in him. Ben attempted to question Rachel in order to get to know her a little better. His questions derived from early life to life now. Rachel's answers were almost perfect but Ben seemed surprised when she said she didn't remember some of the conversations they shared through email. "So does your brother come to town often?" Ben asked but Rachel laughed and shook her head strangely "I don't have a brother, im an only child". Ben's eyes widened and he baffled confusingly as he had thought she mentioned an older brother in the emails but Rachel assured him he was probably mistaking, despite this Ben was sure what he had read in the emails as he used to look through them almost every night.

The following night Dan and Julia had organised a wedding rehearsal to take place, Dan had already asked Ben to be his best man but Ben was struggling with his speech as he wanted it to sound perfect. As the rehearsal begun and everyone was on their toes trying to make sure they were doing their jobs well whilst Ben had snuck out into the reception to practice his speech alone. He had memorised parts of it but his mind went blank on other parts, he kept repeating the first sentence to learn it properly. While he read out aloud his words shut the sound of someone's footsteps and he was caught by surprise when Emily interrupted him asking if he could use some help. Ben didn't answer, instead he questioned what she was doing her "I'm one of Julia's bridesmaids" Emily replied. Astounded at how this hadn't come to his knowledge earlier Ben gave a weak smile and took Emily's offer. He then read out his speech and she told him it was good but too vague, and so she took the speech out of his hands and told him to speak from his heart. At first Ben struggled for words and borrowed some from his speech but soon the struggle was over and he found the right words as he described what Dan and Julia meant to him and how he couldn't think of two people more comfortable. Ben thought he had said enough and asked for Emily's feedback and noticed she had tears in her eyes, "Hey, what's wrong, was it really that bad?", Emily wiped her tears and told him it was perfect. Ben smiled and thanked her but then realised he couldn't remember what he had just said and that's when Emily told him once again "speak from your heart or just look into their eyes and the words will come themselves". Back at the rehearsal, Ben went up onto stage and gave a similar speech to the one before and received and ecstatic round of applause and thanked his best man for preparing and delivering something incredibly special. Ben approached Emily who was sitting alone at her table and thanked her once again. The two got along well and Ben asked her about Rachel, Emily told him past stories and other information about Rachel however Ben was left speechless as learning these things for the first time when he thought he had known her quite well already. Upon hearing this, at the end of the rehearsal a confused Ben approached Rachel and told her he wanted to get to know her better and asked her about her past years. Rachel found Ben's approach to be weird but went on to tell him about her. She started by talking about her family and her distant relationship with her estranged father, she then told him about her high school and college life and how she went to Australia for 2 years for a fashion scholarship. Ben listened blissfully but interrupted her when she mentioned Australia, "Wait, why didn't you mention Australia in the emails?" he questioned her and she replied saying everything was far too sudden and that was why she deactivated without saying goodbye. This made sense to Ben and he reached out to hold her hands telling her he know understood everything about her chasing her dreams and moving to Australia.
