Lyrical Pear is a hole in the wall nightclub/Poetry Corner. There is some kind of metal music playing, teens and young adults dancing wildly on the center dance floor. Visellia and I sit at a booth facing the dance floor. There are strobe lights of every color sweeping across the floor and people. I listen to the music and realizes what song it is; Silent Smiles by Juvenile Sundown. One of the new songs I recently got into.
"This place is amazing, Visellia," I yell over the metal music.
"I know. I checked this place out when it first opened on the 20th of September of last year." Visellia shouts back.
A girl with turquoise blue droopy eyes, silky straight armpit length brown hair, and tan complexion soon approaches us.
"Rory." Visellia hugs her, Rory hugs back and sits by Visellia. "You made it."
Rory smiled, showing a mouth full of metal braces.
"Of course, I did." Rory is wearing a simple short black dress and a pair of red pumps. She also has a sparkly black and white scarf around her neck and a white small rose clip in her hair.
I am wearing a rich blue spaghetti strap shirt, a long layered black skirt over black leggings, and a pair of black wedged heels.
Visellia is wearing an extravagant dark gray short dress and a pair of rich red short lace-up denim shoes with a little heel.
"Where are the others?" Visellia asks with excitement oozing through her body.
"Cayne is coming soon and Shi is parking the car." Rory answers shifting around in the booth, trying to get comfortable.
Just then, Cayne comes in and gives Rory and Visellia cheek kisses. I just sit there as Cayne squeezes in with Visellia and Rory.
"Guys, I want you to meet Sirrah." Visellia introduces. "Sirrah, this is Rory." She points to the girl with the turquoise blue eyes. Rory waves to me and I wave back. "And this handsome devil is Cayne."
Cayne has hooded almost shaped grey eyes, fine wavy midnight blue hair that stops at his ear lobes, and china-white complexion. He nods to me and I smile.
"Why did you pick Lyrical Pear, Vivi? You know how I feel about this place." Cayne complains.
"Because you were outnumbered. And who wants to go to Far Toad? That place is too dark for me and they got a 75 on their sanitation test. Come on, let's be real here, Cayne." Visellia makes a valid point.
Cayne pouts by sitting back and folding his arms across his bird chest. I shake my head at Cayne. Cayne throws me a disgusting look that made me feel very uncomfortable.
"V-Visellia, I am going to the bar. Want anything?" I stammer while I ask.
"No," She answers swaying to the beat of the new song in the booth.
I nod and slides out of the booth and ambles quickly to the bar.
