Alexis's P.O.V
The boys had finished setting up, and we were going for lunch in a café that Hannah spotted.
"Calum at 12 o' Clock" Hannah announces. "See ya"
"You bitch!" I shouted as she runs off to Phoenix and Kenzie.
"Hey" Calum says walking next to me.
"Hi" I reply giving him a small smile.
"You excited?" He asks. "To see us perform?"
"Excited is a big word" I said. "I'm not that excited I mean I did see you perform not long ago"
It was a lie. I would love to see him perform every day.
Calum gasps and pretends to be hurt. "You could've at least lied"
I gasp. "Mr Hood telling his student to lie?"
Calum and I start laughing.
"I actually can't believe you became a teacher" I admit.
"Why? Don't I make a good teacher?"
"Oh you're a good teacher I just thought you would go into music, I never thought you could be a teacher and if you were I would've thought a music teacher at least" I explain.
"I would've loved to go into the music industry but like what my mom said I needed a 'stable and well paid' job" He says.
"But teachers don't get paid much do they?" I ask.
"Well money is money plus the boys and I get paid for the gigs we do" He says. "Ranges from about $1000-$10,000 it matters how big it is."
"Wow maybe I should do something like that to get money; I mean do you know the cost for band concerts nowadays?" I ask. "Fucking expensive"
Calum laughs. "You should try singing them"
"Um yeah no thanks" I said.
"You've got an amazing voice and you know it" He says.
I remember when Calum and I used to go to the beach and he would bring his guitar, we would sing together, Sweet. Painful memories.
"I may have the voice but I sure as hell don't have the confidence" I say. "I can't be on stage knowing a lot of people are watching me"
Calum nods. "Confidence is key but with the right help can be strengthened"
"And by the right help you mean?" I ask.
"Your parents, Scott, Hannah, people with a meaning in your life, your boyfriend, grandma...anyone" He says.
"Well my parents are having fun cruising around the world, Hannah and Scott are in a relationship so I don't think they will be much help, both my grandparents are dead and I don't have a boyfriend" I list. "So now what?"
Calum rubs his neck. "What about me?"
"You?"
"Yeah as a teacher it's my job to not only teach and make my student learn but strengthen their knowledge and confidence" Calum says.
I laugh making Calum frown.
"You sound like a philosophical wise old man when you talk all sophisticated like that" I said.
"Hey I can be philosophical and wise without being old" He says.
"Alright name a young philosophical and wise person" I challenge him.
"Easy Stevie Wonder" He says.
I laugh as Calum huffs.
"What?" He whines.
"First I said young, Stevie Wonder has been around for centuries I mean my dad still has their first albums" I said. "Second I said philosophical, name one time he has been philosophical Hood?"
Calum thinks about it before sighing. "You win"
"Of course I did"
We arrived at a small café before walking in and sitting down before giving our orders to the waiter.
"I see you're still sassy" Calum says looking at me.
"Me? Sassy?" I ask.
"Oh she's always sassy" Hannah adds. "Accusing me of mouth raping her brother Scott"
"Oh my gosh" I exclaim. "You didn't see what I saw it was gross"
Everyone laughs.
"So we're all taken except Michael, Calum, Alexis " Phoenix says.
"Where is this going?" I ask.
"Nothing just wondering if you would date one of them" She asks.
Just then Hannah and all the boys looked at me knowing I dated Calum in the past. Hannah had a stupid smirk on her face.
"...no" I lied. "I have a thing for guys interested in acrobatics"
Hannah bursted out laughing and covered her mouth before faking a cough.
"Sorry I um choked" Hannah mumbled quietly.
Kenzie looks at me and smiles. "That's interesting Alexis unique taste"
"Yeah something about their flexibility-..." I began.
"-Turns her on" Hannah finished.
"Really?" Kenzie asks laughing.
"I guess so" I said glaring at Hannah. "I mean many different sex positions right?"
"Um can we change the conversation please because I'm getting a very uncomfortable and vivid image in my head?" Luke asks.
"Please do" I beg.
Just then the food arrives and we began to eat.
"You know you remind me of a girl Calum dated" Kenzie blurts out.
Just then Calum and I both simultaneously choked on our sandwiches and Hannah passed me my glass of water. I drank it before sighing.
"That's was so creepy choking at the same time" Mikey says.
"Can we just talk about dogs or something?" I ask.
"Woof" Ashton says before giggling.
"Woof woof woof?" Hannah asks.
"Woof woof woof woof!!" Phoenix said.
I'm so done.
