Each day was like the rest steadily growing colder as the winter snow neared down on us. Our footing in sure as a glacier breaking off.

The sun slowly having shorter paths across the sky, the foals complaining that they where tired of our travel. From what I learned over the many days we where still heading south the lead stallion who I later learned was name black star was planing to stay in a place where it never snows and the sun bares on out back to heat us up.

This such place was the equator of the earth. These horses knew nothing of human history if they heard any of it. I knew it would be sweating heat and a wish for snow but I kept my mouth shut.

Recently I have been seeing outlines of Hare he would come close only to be chased off again. He was waiting to a moment in which to get us back and protect us. I waited readily for the time to come by.

Soon the sun was starting longer paths not shortening we where getting further south or winter was coming to an end.
