I rubbed my eyes, yawning silently. I began to slide towards the edge of the bed, stretching.
I felt two large arms squeeze tighter around me.
I peered behind me into the darkness, and saw the shadow of Ethan's body lay sleeping, nuzzled next to me.
I smiled to myself, and began to slide over again.
"St-ay" Ethan muttered under his tired breath.
I rolled over and faced him.
"Il be back" I whisper giggled.
He mumbled something again.
"Bab-y" he mumbled
"I'll be back I promise" I whispered.
I kissed his jaw and rolled out of the bed.
I went downstairs to my kitchen and grabbed a glass of water.

Since my family was out of town all week, I had the house to myself. And since I didn't want to stay alone, Ethan stayed to keep me company.

I walked back upstairs after cleaning the kitchen counter.
I walked into the room and saw Ethan, now awake, laying on the bed on his phone.
"I missed you" he said as he grabbed me and pulled me next to him. He kissed my cheek as I flipped to face him.
"Thanks for staying with me" I said quietly as I massages the back of his head.
"No problem baby" he said as he kissed your nose.
You giggled and wrapped your arms tightly around his chest.
He kissed your temple as you both drifted back off to sleep.
