I sat down on the couch and rubbed my throbbing head.
"Hey Y/N" I heard my front door open and close.
I could tell who it was.
"Hey guys" I said, my eyes closed.
"What's up with you?" Grayson asked, plopping down next to me on the couch.
"Y/N! HARRY PUSHED ME!" my 6 year old sister Ava came running into the room.
Following quickly behind her was Harry, her twin brother.
"Harrison. Ava" I whined.
"We want to go back in the pool" Harry shouted loudly. They both cheered and jumped up and down.
It was way past their bedtime, and my mom was going to kill me.
I was supposed to be a good babysitter.
"You guys can go in tomorrow. Now it's time to get our pajamas on" I said, trying to grab them.
They ran around the living room, screaming to go in the pool.
The dog started barking, signaling he had to go out.
"Will you please just watch Harrison and Ava for 2 minutes while I walk Travis?" I asked.
"Sure" Ethan said, shrugging.
"I'll hurry" I responded, grabbing his leash and bag and sliding on my sandals.
I walked Travis down a block or two, until he had been tired out. Then we walked back home.
I walked inside, and didn't hear any noise or screaming.
I didn't see anyone at all.
I searched, finding no one.
Then I heard a familiar giggle.
I walked out into the backyard to see Ava and Harrison all dressed in their pajamas, helping Ethan and Grayson put away the pool toys.
I was shocked.
I couldn't get those kids to sit down for the past 4 hours.
"How did you do that?" I whispered to Grsyson and Ethan.
"They listened really well" Ethan rroled.
Grayson nodded, agreeing.
My mouth still hung open slightly as I watched Ava and Harrison throw their pool toys into the bin and run over to Ethan and Grayson.
They picked them up and tickled them.
"Hold on" I shouted, pulling out my phone.
"Picture time" I smiled.
They all posed and smiled for my camera.
