Childhood Best-Friends

Chapter eight

Tuesday was a different story, Scottie caught a ride with Cruz, Riley, Leo and Jack to school while Evie and Travis came to pick me up only 20 minutes later and we headed off to school for the day, as normal Scottie and the team greeted me as soon as I got to school then I headed off to class with Evie and Brody. All of the classes went normal well as least first period did then came dance with Travis and Crus so as soon as we all met up in the hallway, we went straight and saw the teacher who was filling out some paper work standing up so we stood to her left until 7 minutes later she noticed us and turned towards us to continue or ask what we wanted to ask "we came up with a really good idea for a dance number but we need help on it" I started then Travis, Cruz and I took turns explaining every idea that we had yesterday and al she did was nod all the way through it

"You three came up with some really good ideas, I can give you help in posting it around the school and tell the teachers to tell their students as well as telling the principal and the vice principal and some ideas for dance moves but I reckon that not everyone should have partners only the three of you" she said "then it should start with the three of you with partners and when the first song finishes and you all finish dancing, the rest of the students and teachers can come out" Mrs Carter said

"Instead of one person being the centre we should do groups and they can create their own little dance for a 15 seconds of fame" Travis said

"I'll start telling the teachers during snack brake while you get it around the cafeteria" Mrs Carter said, we all nodded and lined up to practice the routine but Mrs Carter had other ideas "Winter, Cruz and Travis have come up with a very good celebration dance that we can perform at the assembly that's in 9 weeks so we need to create text messages to all the students and teachers as well as the principle and the vice principle but understand that no parents can be involved in this as it will be a surprise to them" she told the class, everyone nodded and started getting to work on the computer getting the word around while others including Travis, Cruz, Mrs Carter and I started figuring out some dance moved that we can include in the dance routine.

Right now it's lunch time and while I just had two period with Scottie, the teachers wanted to talk to me which took 10 minutes so Scottie said that he'll wait for me in the cafeteria which I find fair so after stopping by my locker and putting my books away, I headed straight for the doors but as I came upon the set of double doors to the cafeteria, Evie, Travis and Cruz walked up to me and started dragging me away from the doors "we all have an essay to start and we need help with it so we're going to the library" Evie said, I ripped myself out of their arms and turned around to face them

"Alright, I'm not stupid so what the hell are the three of you hiding from me that's in that room" I asked crossing my arms over my chest "u-uh something that would make you very upset if we were to let you see it" Cruz said

"Like, what, a food fight... ohmygod if there's a food fight going on in there, you better not be keeping me from it" I said

"No, it's something really bad, worse even" Cruz said "what could be worse than a food fight" I asked, they all murmured something but I didn't catch anything

"Just come with us, I really need help with my research" Travis asked, I nodded

"As soon as I see Scottie and tell him" I said, Cruz turned to Evie and Travis

"Just let her see him, they've been inseparable since they were children so we can't really stop her" he told them, they both agreed and stepped to the side so that I could pass, I walked past them still a little confused on what they hell they could be hiding that's so bad but I think I found that answer when I opened the doors and looked over to where Scottie was sitting. Instead of finding him talking to the rest of the hockey team, I found him sitting at the table before our normal table (even though it's only my second day) tongue tied with a girl with strawberry blonde hair "that's Allison Delcid and her two minions, Mary Essen and Anna Marcella, they didn't come yesterday for whatever reason but she's always wanting attention and she gets that from the hockey team" Travis said, I nodded feeling numb
