**I wrote this when I was fighting with my best friend one night.

Friendship?

What is a true friend?

Are they the ones who listen as we cry?

Are they like our extended family?

Are they just strangers you try to trust?

Are they the ones who lie saying they’ll keep your secrets?

Friendship?

What are true friends?

Are they the ones who make us cry?

Are they the ones who make us love our messed up families?

Are they strangers acting like someone we can trust?

Are they the ones who spread our secrets?

Friendship.

True friends are those who love us no matter what.

They are the ones who wipe the tears away, then make us laugh so hard we cry from laughing.

They are our second family.

They are people we can always trust.

They are the ones who will keep and share secrets.

Friendship.

True friends are those who love us no matter what.

They are the ones who hurt whoever made us cry.

They are the ones who make us love their messed up families.

They are the ones who we can trust no matter what.

They are the ones who beat up anyone who tries to spread our secrets.

Friendship?

Is that true friend.

Not a stranger.

Not a liar.

Not a backstabber.

Not a poser.

Friendship.

That’s a true friend.

A kindred soul.

A truthful person.

A backstabber-stopper.

A true friend.
