Chapter 23: The Tradition.....

Start from the beginning

I head into the bathroom and turned the water on in the tub. I quickly went back to my suitcase and pulled out my iPad and headphones.

Once I was ready, I got undressed and slowly climbed into the tub. I sighed in content at the feeling of the warm water against my aching body.

I felt a slight sting on my shoulder so I looked down at it. There was a line of stitches across my shoulder.

Was I really out that long???

I picked up my iPad and sat it down at the end of the tub. I placed my head phones on my head and began watching the movie Jurassic World on it.

I was so happy when I found out that that movie was available on iTunes. That movie is literally the best movie ever. In my opinion, it is a lot better than Jurassic Park, but that's just me.

I didn't realize how late it was until I heard a knock on my door. I quickly sat up and just stared at the door.

I quickly paused the movie I was watching. Which by the way wasn't Jurassic World, I finished that about a movie ago. Now I'm watching the second Twilight movie.

I'm definitely team Edward. He's soooooo hot.

I heard another knock on my door, snapping my out of my Robert Pattinson dreamland. (By the way, I've never seen the movies, so I personally don't like Robert Pattinson. So don't judge!!!)

"What?" I called out.

"Are you okay? You've been in there for a long time. Are you not a little raisin yet?" I heard Zach's deep voice and it automatically made my body become warm and fuzzy inside.

"Uh yeah. I'm just having a movie marathon."

"Okay. Well dinner should be ready soon." He informed me.

"Ok, I'll be out in a minute. Don't miss me too much." The last part I was teasing.

"If I missed you so much, I wouldn't be on this side of the door." I could practically hear him smirk.

I was silent for a few seconds. "Shut up...." I muttered in defeat.

His laughed was heard from the other side. A smile grew on my face as I heard his laugh. It sounded so soothing. Nobody should have a laugh that perfect.

I heard his footsteps disappear, so I knew he was gone.

I pulled the drain at the bottom of the tub to let the water out. I slowly stood up and wrapped the white fuzzy towel around my wet body.

I slightly shiver from the cold air.

Once my body was dry, I put my clothes on. I pick up the towel and started drying my wet, tangly hair.

When it is kinda dry, I grab my brush and start brushing my messy, blonde hair. I don't bother drying it with the blow drier just because.

I clean up the bathroom before exiting my room. I walk down the hall and just guessed which way to go.

I finally found the stairs and descended them. I entered the kitchen.

I sniffed the air and mentally moaned at the smell of the food. I couldn't fully describe the smell, but all I knew was that it was good.

"In here." I heard Zach's voice. In the other room.

I walked into the room that he was in and saw him sitting at a dining table with his parents, Jack, Evelyn, and a couple which I'm assuming is Jack's parents.

I awkwardly sat down next to Zach and across from Evelyn, who was sitting next to Jack. Zach's mom was next to him and Jack's mom was next to him, while the fathers sat at the ends.
