37. Choices

Loren POV

I walked away quickly and bumped into Tommy

"Loren hello" He smiles

"Hello Tommy" I smile back and hug him

"How have you been? I see you have a new boyfriend" He crosses his arms

"I've been great and yes , his name is Eddie, he's-"

"You're not over my son are you?" He interrupts me

"I- I mean I don't know?" I say looking down

"Loren I can see it in your eyes , you know me and Gail dealt with the same thing"

"Really?" I ask in disbelief "I mean you guys are so in love , you guys look like you've never had any issues" We start walking

"Yeah , we had issues before Taylor and Blake came into the picture. I was in Blake's shoes ,which is kind of why I bug Blake a lot about what he did to you. Of course the situation was a little different but I made a mistake and cheated on Gail as well , I regretted it immediately"

I stayed silent and he continued

"Not having her by my side , made me realize how much I loved her and I see my son and remember how I was feeling"

"It's just a little different now that he's having a child with her now , I.. Don't think I would be able to handle it" I say trying not to cry in front of Tommy

"We're not sure if it's his or not-"

"Oh hello gorgeous!" Gail walks up to us and hugs me

"Hello Gail" I smile at her and hug her back

"I miss you so much Loren" she frowns

"Mom Dad can we- Loren" Blake walks up to us

"I see you're keeping your head up" I smile at him

"Can we talk? Please Loren?" Blake asks

"Sure" I say walking away and Blake follows

We walk in silence until we reach the near by beach

"So How have you been?" He asks

"Happy and you?" I smile

"Not so great" he sits on a bench and I sit next to him  "I miss you.. Like everyday"

"You're the one who told me to leave" I remind

"I just said that because I didn't want to hurt you anymore"

"You telling me to leave hurt me more Blake" I say looking in my purse

"Here" I hand him a gift

Blake POV

"What's this?" I ask taking the box

"Well before you and I broke up , I was feeling bad for not giving you attention and while you were at practice , I got this customized for you"

I unwrap the box and open it , it was a gold watch.

"It has a little something on the back" she tries to smile but fails she frowns and let's her tears fall

"I love you Blake Austin , you're the best boyfriend I've ever had, thank you for being here for me , I never want to lose you and even if I do , I promise I will always love you ♡"

"I lost you and I still love you" She breaks down and I hug her

"Loren please don't cry" I kiss her forehead and wipe her tears away "I love you so much"

She places her head on my shoulder and I let her cry , I put my chin on her head and let my tears fall, she looks up at me and wipes my tears away

"I don't know what to do Blake?" She says looking up at me "I'm with Eddie but I love you , you're always on my mind"

"Loren I don't know what to tell you, I don't want you to leave him because I tell you to , just follow your heart , think about what you want , we all have choices. Make a choice and if you choose him, I will always-"

She places her lips on mine and I kiss her back

"I made a choice the minute I saw you from my car in Beverly Hills" she smiles and I kiss her forehead
