"Could you look something up for me?" he asked.
"Ugh, Dad, I'd have to grab my phone from the table--"
"Which is right beside you--"
"Then I'd have to push the power button and reach my thumbs across the screen and that's just too much for 9PM on a Friday."
He sighed, then grabbed the tv remote and said, "Alright, I'm going to beat you with this remote, just so you know you've been beaten by technology."
