Chapter 2

You might be wondering why my dad wasn't around the whole time. Or maybe just an ordinary, frequently asked question like how come a man could even stand being married to some as lunatic, self-centered and literally insane as my mom.

Well let me explain.

He couldn't.

He couldn't stand being around my mom, let alone being married to her. Maybe that's why he left her, me personally wouldn't blame him. No matter how wrong that sounds, I would have done the same if I'm standing in his shoes. Even when he's the one responsible for my existence, and no matter how much a coward he was, I believe no one could ever possibly stands having any connection to my mother, and therefore shall leave immediately before engaging a more serious relationship with her.

But just because he wasn't here, doesn't mean I haven't meet him. I spent a few years of my teenage life with him, and that's probably what started my drinking addiction, and where all my powders came from. He introduced me to a whole new world. Where cocaines and heroins are spreading everywhere across the room and smokes of cigars fumigating and filled your lungs every time you take a breath. The acrid smell of alcohol, and I'm not talking about beers, waiting to be drank, with glasses and glasses of shots served on the counters. I never hate him for that, nor regret the decisions he made for me. I should have thanked him, if I must say.

In fact, his drinking habit was the main reason mom left him, not because he's a jerk. But I have to blame her for leaving him, because she was the one to flirt on him at the college Christmas party. She knew he was wild and untamed, but she still clung to him anyways. All because of that shiny red Porsche of his.

They were never been a pair, dad told me. But one night, their relationship status drastically changed from being nothing, to being parents. It all started when my dad arrived at Jack Dummel's massive valentine party held at his grand mansion. He, for the third time in his life, met Hilda Feller - the girl later regret he met.

The party went wild, so I really should skip to the day when my mom screamed in exhilaration, finding out that she was pregnant. She made sure she didn't sleep with anyone but my dad - he was her number one and only target. I mean, why wasn't he? As a ridiculously rich and handsome young man, with the key to a German Porsche, he was every girl's desire.

My mom was good enough hiding her happiness, knowing that her plan had worked, and told my dad with tears streaming down her cheek. "I'm pregnant, Greg," she won't stop sobbing. Her nose and lips turned as red as her moist eyes. I can now declare that I am not an accident; my mom planned of having me throughout her college life. Therefore, technically I am not an accident.

Dad, as a man with a good moral value, didn't have the heart to leave the innocent yet pathetic young girl. Later did he know, when I was already able to walk, that it was all just her sick game. Lucky he was convinced by himself not to marry her. So he simply walked away, leaving us a huge amount of cash for us to live. Since then, he had been living the bachelor life, going back to his old habits he couldn't have done if he decided to be a full-time dad.

Parties, drugs and alcohol.

I remember the first party I went to with my dad. It was on the third month after I started to live with him. He seemed pleased to have me as a company. One thing I know very well, he loves me. He loves me very much, but he just couldn't bear living a day with my mom, so he left.

So he bought me stuff, everything I want, everything I need, all I have to do was ask. And he would get me whatever the shit I wanted. Simply by sliding his golden credit card, and I would carry dozens of new items out of the stores. My life seemed to be a fairytale, until I found out about his worst addiction - parties.
