What if the tears that well up in your eyes were stoppable?

What if smiles for you seemed possible?

What if the bitter memories carved on your heart could be faded just like autumn leaves

Or what if believing was just as easy as lying?

What if our hearts were pure as snow?

What if for just one second we thought about how forced they were when they lied to us?

What if it was just as easy to speak your feelings as it is to ink them on crispy pages?

What if we could know about what the person has gone through before uttering those prickling words from our tongues?

What if we could actually taste the words before we spoke them?

What if we could really sew a heart?

What if we were actually that courageous to be the first one to apologise?

What if wounded hearts were healed with just a simple sorry?

And what if you actually felt what I felt when I wrote this?
