Adem smacked his hand against his forehead, "why am I such an idiot?" He asked himself.

"Let me count," a female voice said from the foot of his bed, he looked up to see his curvy, sexy and very married assistant, Macy. "You leave the lights on, you don't put the toilet seat down and you don't pay me enough to listen to your problems."

"It's a good thing I like you so much or I might have to fire you." He said pleasantly.

"My husband would kick your ass if you fired me," she said confidently, her husband, Lex, was the type of man that would do anything for his wife. He would probably go as far as fighting a professional fighter named Adem.

"I'm sure he could fight me if he was able to lift his skinny arms up long enough to form a fist." He joked, Lex wouldn't be shabby in a fight if it was against someone his own size and Adem was more than ten times his size.

"Don't make fun of my husband or I won't make you coffee for a week." She said out of spite.

Adem placed a hand over his heart, "that hurts me right here." He said clutching his heart.

Macy rolled her eyes, "so tell me about her." She said as she came around the bed and sat on the edge.

"Who said I was talking to a her?" he asked, "I could have been talking to Cameron."

"I didn't realize that you batted for the other team, we could have gone shopping together." She clapped her hands together with false enthusiasm, "You could totally be my BTISG."

Adem starred at her blankly, "What's a BTISG?"

"Boss That Is Super Gay," she explained, "we could go shopping for shoes and tampons together."

"Is that really what girls do when they go shopping together?" He asked, forcing himself not to gag.

"No, I would only force my gay boss to do those things with me, since he's a jerk." She stuck out her tongue.

He laughed nervously, "her name's Evalynn," he confessed, "she's an old friend of mine."

"I didn't realize you told all your friends that you loved them, hell I've known you for four years and the only thing I ever heard you say 'I love' is when there's 'chicken wings' at the end of the sentence." She said sarcastically.

"Maybe I don't consider you a friend," he said rolling his eyes, "you are my employee." He reminded her of her place.

"Oh, I'm just your employee?" She asked, he nodded, "okay so that means when I meet your friend Evalynn I can tell her about that ugly striper you met in Las Vegas who stole your wallet and beat the crap out of you. I find that story to be an ice breaker when I meet someone new." She said sweetly.

Adem's head snapped in her direction, "I was drunk and I never hit girls," He said defensively, "and I never said you were going to meet her."

"I'm hurt Adem, you don't want me to meet the love of your life." She said giving him puppy dog eyes, "though I'm surprised that you would fall for Evalynn Drake, the woman who is described as ridged and cold."

"Who said she was ridged and cold?" He demanded, his blood ran hot in his veins as he thought someone calling his Eva names. She was the opposite of that, sure she was a little stiff when she was working and maybe she was chilly when you talked to her during business hours. But when the clock stopped ticking and her hair was down from the tight bun, she was so hot smoke followed in her wake.

"Some reporter from ESPN channel three called to get a statement out of you about the new woman in your life. He wanted to know if she was as ridged and unbearable to be around as everyone says she is." She said causally, handing him his cell phone.
