Chapter 19. Kris & Me

As we arrived in front of the ring with 6 meters distance, he placed himself beside me then look down at me. "What you shall do is to dribble the ball then shoot it as what your strength can do," he advised, I furrowed my eyebrows, not getting for what he just said. "I said.. Dribble the ball and shoot it inside the ring as what your strength can do. Come on, you can do it!" He cheered. Well, what will I do? Practice makes me perfect right? Maybe I shall try and try until I succeed.

"It's almost, Black Pearl! Try once more!" Kris still cheered while clapping his hands. Hays.. I already did the shooting and dribbling thingy for almost 20 minutes, but still, nothing happened. I didn't shoot just once, but I always almost shoot the ball. All of the members are now cheering for me because they said 'To boost up my spirit'

What can I do? I can't do it! It's too hard! "Go for it Yeonnie! Fighting!" Kyungie cheered while clapping his hands with the other members. Ugh! It's too embarrassing! They are watching at me if how am I going to shoot the ball! Aish! "Try once more Black Pearl," Kris advised, I look at the members who are now sitting on the side with cushioned chairs, clapping their hands and cheered for me. Then my eyes caught unto Baekhyun. He's crossing his arms while rolling his eyes to me, in any seconds or two, he plug on his headphone and look on the other direction.

"Go Black Pearl! Go Black Pearl!" The members cheered, I gulped as I look down at the ball while my both hands starts getting cold and tremble.

I shoot the ball on the ring as what my strength can but.. I failed again, all of the members cheer in awe then I sigh while looking at Kris, sorrowful. "I'm sorry Kris, I can't. But anyways, thank you for your advise, I'll try next time," I flashed him a force smile, I pass him by while he's looking straight at my direction, dumbfounded to be exact.

The whole place turned quiet as my footsteps is the only sound that can be hear inside of the gymnasium.

"No, you can't,"

I widened my eyes when Kris just grabbed my arm as he stop me. "K-kris? What a-are you s-saying?" I asked while looking up at him in blinking eyes.

All of the members gasped while looking at the scene when Kris just pulled Taeyeon back. "Hyung! Hyung! Duizhang is going to hurt the Black Pearl!" Sehun panicked while pointing the two while he's hooking Luhan. "Pabo! Kris won't do that!" Luhan slightly smack his head. "Omo! What shall we do? Master Baekhyun, what are we gonna do?" Chen asked worriedly, but as expected, Baekhyun didn't hear him because of his headphone. "No wait guys! Maybe you're just mistaken! Look!" Lay pointed back at the scene again, all of the members shift their eyes back to Kris and Taeyeon who were still looking at each other.
