You:" Well thats not really fair, you seem pretty calm from what I can see. Im sure they care about you, don't say that."
You scoot closer to him and rub your hand up and down his back trying to sooth him. He sigh loudly and throws the controller onto the coffee table.
Koichi:" Im bored now. Im going to go get something to eat."
Koichi stands up and walk out of the game room and walks into the kitchen. Swinging the fridge door open he moves and pushes things around looking to be searching for something specific. You walk behind him and lean over his shoulder watching what he was doing.
You:" What are you looking for? Oh by the way did you eat dinner yet? If not I can order a pizza or something."
Koichi:" My parents dont let me eat that kinda stuff they say it's unhealthy. They are pretty controlling of what i do."
You:" You've never had pizza?? Psh I won't tell if you wont. You really need to try the pizza parlour up the road, it's to die for."
Koichi nodded and smiled widely, he went back to searching in the fridge. With a loud sigh he slammed his fist on the freezer door. Closing the fridge door he turned to you and frowned.
Koichi:" Noooo they threw out the cookie dough I stashed in there. The last babysitter brought the cookie dough so we could bake some chocolate chip cookie but then she stopped coming around, I had the feeling she was fired."
You:" Aw I'm sorry Koichi........Hey why don't we go down to that little deli I saw on my way here, I'm sure they sell cookie dough there. Anything you want to try I'd be more than happy to buy."
Koichi's face lit up with joy and you took out your phone to call the pizza parlour to deliver. You ordered a half cheese half pepperoni pizza with garlic knots and two Dr.Peppers. waiting for the food to get here you both sat back down on the couch and he offered to teach you how to play video games with him.
Koichi:" What kinda game would you wanna play?? Horror? First person shooter? Skill or puzzle based? Multiplayer combat?"
You looked over at the drawers full of games and you sat up to kneel beside the open drawers. You skimmed through the different titles and you pulled out a game and showed him the cover.
Koichi:"Mortal Kombat X? Really? Are you sure? I wouldn't really recommend that for first time gamers, but if you really wanna then alright."
You threw your fists up in the air victoriously and popped open the case. You pressed the eject button on the ps4 and grabbed the case for the game, putting inside and back in the drawer. You slipped your game into the disc slot and grabbed the other controller on the table. You scurried over to your seat and sat down next to him, he loaded the game and you smiled happily. When the character selection screen came up Koichi chose Goro and you chose Takeda Takahashi. When the fight started you let Koichi win at first but quickly went silent trying to focus. The sudden switch from winning to being completely obliterated had Koichi whining like a child.
Koichi:" Hey, what the hell? How did you beat me?? I thought I was winning!"
You:" Eh beginners luck I guess. I dont really know what I'm doing to be completely honest."
That was a lie, you knew what you were doing. You just wanted to fool him and beat him so bad. He was very cocky before but now not so much. Match after match you continued to pumble him to the ground. Right when he was about to give up the doorbell rang, the pizza man was standing patiently at the door.
