Hey guys! Thank you to everyone who participated, it meant a lot to me that you took time out of your day to write a piece for this story c: All the submissions were so amazing and so fun to read (and reread, honestly). I wish I didn't have to, but ultimately I had to narrow it down to three winners:

First Place:

tylerdurdens for her one-shot. I loved this one so much for it's complete and utter uniqueness- the idea of bringing in Ellie's shelter was something no one else thought of but I thought was incredibly brilliant. She captured Caid's and Ryan's relationship perfectly, and didn't make thing unrealistic considering their age/ circumstances. It was incredibly well written and matched the voice of a teenage boy that went through what Caid did amazingly. It was perfect and I loved it so much (:

Second Place:

FireWriter for her one-shot. The snap shots she gave us of the experiences Caiden went through were so amazingly written- I adored the way she managed to so perfectly capture Caiden as a character and the way she described the scenes from the book with complete accuracy that almost no one else was able to achieve honestly leaves me amazed. Thank you so much for participating, I adored your one-shot!

Third Place:

MagicallyCursed for her one-shot. I think it really captured the inner turmoil that someone faces when they're discriminated against for being whothey are in a way that I wasn't able to capture in Ellie's point of view. It also really showed the strength and bond that developed in Ryan and Caiden's relationship in a beautiful way, thank you for entering that lovely piece.

Everyone please go check out these three writer's works/one-shots. They're all incredible. Also, if you'd like to read the other one-shots, I have a reading list titled 'trc one shot competition' with all the entries. Check them out, they're all amazing and so much fun to read! Thank you one last time for the support that this story has received, it really is the story I am most proud of for the message that it gives and I am so happy I got to share it all with you. Thank you, and I love you all! (: xoxo
