-Enjoy! If the reader doesn't sound like you in this story, just pretend you are shy and anti-social. Everyone is different and I don't really want comments about how you were not like the reader or some shit. Other than that, I hope you like it!-

"Please hold the handrails when the train is in motion. Thank you very much for your cooperation!"

The usual intercom messages resounds in the train as it begins to get ready to depart. France was a very big place, it wasn't just Paris. There were many districts, much like Japan. You moved to France a while ago, mostly to live a new and fresh life. You never wanted to stay in one area for your whole life. You enjoyed traveling and discovering new things about the wide world. You glance back down at your book as the people begin to get off and file in. The train was getting pretty crowded, it got to a point where strangers were having to sit with other strangers due to the limited amount of seats.

You see someone sit next to you through the corner of your eye. but proceed to invest your concentration on your book. You hoped that he wasn't one of those passengers that liked to strike up a conversation with just about anybody. You also hoped that if he was, you would be able to avoid the annoying chat by having both your earphones on. Much to your fortune, he wasn't one of those people. In fact, he was fairly quiet himself. He just sipped at his tea as he flipped through his own book.

Something about him made you want to turn around and look at him. As much as you wanted to suppress these feelings, you couldn't help but catch a glimpse. He had a tough undercut that you thought was quite attractive. He was quite good-looking too, even through his resting scowl. Just as you were about to look away, his eyes meet yours and you quickly avert them to avoid any awkwardness. It was probably already too late though. It was going to be quite a long trip, and having to sit next to him was beginning to get super uncomfortable. You were never the type to socialize well with people, let alone socialize at all.

"That's a good book...you have great taste in literature." You hear him clear his throat and you were clearly taken aback by the fact that he knew what book you were reading. Most people didn't even read books these days, let alone old classics.

"T-Thank you." You nod as you glance at his book in hand. "I've read that one too."

Before you know it, you both had gotten into a pretty deep conversation regarding books. It seemed that you both had similar interests and such. You usually had trouble talking and making friends, but with him, it was just so natural. The sky outside begins to darken, and the train lowers the lights for it's passengers to get some shut eye if wanted. You were pretty tired from a long day, and before you know it, you had nodded off.

Levi feels a soft pressure on his arm as he flips through the pages of his book. He turns his head slightly to see your sleeping face. He couldn't help but feel his heart quicken at such a beautiful sight. He places his jacket on your body gently before returning his attention to his book. He tries to conceal the tugging at his lips as he does so.

When you awake, you see a leather jacket draped over your shoulders and look around to see that the man was no where to be seen. You see a small folded up note in one of the pockets of the jacket and you unwrap it to read what it said.

J'espère que nous nous reverrons.

Levi.

Below the fancy cursive words were a series of numbers and you cannot help but smile. Levi had made sure that there was no other choice but to see him again, after all, you did intend to return his jacket.
