Hi there, readers and devoted fans and Sherlock lovers,
I'm sure you were expecting one last one-shot, but I'm sorry to say that there won't be one.
It's been three years since the last chapter was published, and six years since I wrote that first chapter. I'm 19 now and going into my sophomore year of college but still I have received emails about this story every single day without fail.
It's time for an end to this story, even though it's basically been over for three years. I thought y'all deserved a final chapter before I click that button from "on-going" to "finished."
I'm studying to be a creative writing major now, and I wouldn't have gotten here without the love I've gotten from every comment and vote from you all! I still adore writing, and honestly if any of you want to see more I'd be happy to continue writing stories on Wattpad. But my days with this One Shot book are definitely over since Sherlock doesn't inspire me as much as it used to.
