-12:21 PM- Sparrow Online!

Sparrow: Hello?

Crow: I see that you're back.

Sparrow: I'm sorry it took me this long to respond, I was busy.

Crow: Did you enjoy your little party?

Sparrow: I suppose it was better than I thought it would be.

Crow: Well that's an interesting turn of events.

Sparrow: How so?

Crow: Normally the exact opposite happens for you.

Sparrow: Oh yeah, I guess they do.

Crow: Have I ever told you that I find optimists disgustingly amusing?

Sparrow: Yes. All the time.

Crow: Have I ever told you why?

Sparrow: No. I don't think so.

Crow: I find optimistic people disgustingly amusing because of how they react in situations like your own. Deep down they know that all that awaits is despair, yet they relentlessly rely on the slightest sliver of hope there is. They dangle on it like a pig on a hook. Eventually the place your stuck on will decay and weaken. Bones will snap and flesh will tear but that's all to messy for your plate- or any other decent human's plate, right?

Sparrow: Right...

Crow: Of course it's too messy. No one wants a rotted piece of pork on their plate, so who's job is it to fix the pig before it rots? The butcher. That's where I come in. I take them down before they rot and turn them into something thirty times better than they would have ended up if I had left them dangling there.

Crow: So in a sense, optimists are what keeps my life interesting.

Sparrow: Your comparisons are starting to make me hungry.

Crow: I can't wait to pull you down and carve you up some day too, but I suspect that the day may not come soon. I noticed your reaction when good old Valeria took a hit for the team. You honestly could have fooled me with that reaction.

Sparrow: I was faking, that's all. I wasn't really that fond of her, and the Ultimate Musician was one of my favorites. You're as shocking as ever with your execution methods by the way.

Crow: Am I? I always find a good laugh in making the executions clever and ironic.

Sparrow: To be honest, it will be hard to see a lot of them go. Some of them seem like they could turn out to be good Warriors of Despair.

Crow: Bold statement, coming from someone who isn't a Warrior of Despair yet. Who do you suspect will kill soon?

Sparrow: I can't say yet. Maybe Michael? He seems a little off recently. Oh and are you serious with that new motive?

Crow: Yes, I wouldn't worry about it.

Sparrow: What do you mean? Do you already know what happens??

Crow: I've already run calculations. I can say exactly what is going to happen next.

Sparrow: Who does it?

Crow: As if I'd let you cheat. You have to play the game too, you know.

Sparrow: Fine. How much longer do you think it will be before we can win? It's kinda hard for me to see that person not remember what's going on or who I am.

Crow: As I said, you have to play the game too.

Sparrow: You told me that we'd have a better chance though, so how much longer before we can both join you again?

Crow: I believe my exact words were as follows, 'I will help you to the greatest of my abilities for as long as needed.' I just don't think you need my help anymore. That's what I was trying to tell you earlier.

Crow: Are you still there?

Sparrow: Yes.

Sparrow: What about the person I'm here for? Will that person be safe?

Crow: Are they not also playing the same game? Their lives are also at stake.

Sparrow: I thought there would be safety precautions! That's not what we agreed to!

Crow: Only two people are dead, there are still fourteen of you left. You can still win if you try.

Sparrow: No wait! You can't do this. We had an agreement!

Crow: And I honored it. Hell, I let you keep your memories, I helped you out during the trial. I could have left you as a dazed amnesiac like the rest of those disgustingly amusing optimists you call "friends." But then again, I wouldn't get to have these amusing conversations.

Sparrow: What happens if one of us dies? You'll just be alone!

Crow: A worthy sacrifice for the creation of the next Ultimate Despair.

Sparrow: So you're just going to leave us for dead!?

Crow: No. Not at all. I'm still here with you. I'll still be watching over you, I just won't be giving you as much special treatment anymore. Do not think that I don't care if you or your significant other die. It will be a crippling sacrifice if you lose, but if you win, you'll be a beautiful sight for sure. Just keep that in mind.

Crow: I am going to leave you for now. Get some sleep. Your going to need that full nights rest in the morning.
