Chapter Eleven
I quickly got ready and decided to head out to meet Haye. As I made my way downstairs toward the front door, I noticed that Jimin was nowhere to be seen around the mansion. Even his presence and the sound of his annoying voice seemed to have vanished into thin air. He hadn't said anything or bothered to tease me again before I left.
I had no idea what had gotten into that man's head that made him suddenly go quiet after seeing the text message. Maybe that bastard had mood swings, one minute, he was relentless in teasing me, and the next, he would suddenly turn cold and walk away. But what did I care about him anyway? What mattered was that I managed to leave without anyone bothering me.
When I arrived at the café, I immediately spotted Haye sitting near the window, quietly sipping her coffee while gazing outside. A smile naturally crept onto my lips as I approached her.
"Have you been waiting long?" I asked as I took the seat across from her.
She turned toward me, and a wide smile immediately spread across her face, making my day even brighter.
"Not at all, Kook! Thanks for coming so quickly!"
"Of course! How could I say no to you?" I replied with a slight chuckle.
We spent the entire afternoon catching up on so many things, from what had happened to her to her plans for the coming days.
"You know, Kook, it's really sweet that even though you seem busy, you still managed to make time for me today," she said, gazing at me softly.
"It's nothing, Haye. I'll always have time for you," I replied without hesitation.
She smiled faintly, and we continued our heartfelt conversation, talking about personal dreams and more. It felt so good to be with her without having anything else on my mind. I completely lost track of time. We had so much to talk about and laughed so much that the afternoon slipped away before either of us even realized how quickly time had passed.
Before we parted ways and returned to our respective places, I sent a photo and a message to our friends' group chat.
Me: [Photo attached] Look who's in Seoul! Haye and I met up today.
As expected, I wasn't even surprised by the idiots' reactions. They immediately flooded the chat with messages.
Cole: WOAH!! I thought you were busy today, Kook? But when it's Haye, you're faster than lightning, huh?!
Asher: You've really got some moves, bro! And here you are, acting like you're on some secret mission!
Yoongi: Hey, Kook! What are you waiting for? Just court her already before someone else in Seoul beats you to it! I'm telling you!
Blue: TRUE!! Don't let her go! Start courting her already before you lose your chance!
I could only shake my head as I read their messages before bursting into laughter. I decided to reply just to get them to shut up.
Me: You idiots, shut up already! Haha!
I couldn't help but laugh because, truthfully, I really was planning to court her. I just couldn't bring myself to tell her face-to-face yet because I was still nervous about how she might react.
It was already nine in the evening when I returned to the mansion. The entire place was quiet as I stepped through the grand entrance, the only sound being the faint tapping of my footsteps against the marble floor. From the moment I left earlier until I returned that night, I hadn't seen Jimin at all, not even his shadow. He hadn't contacted me or bothered to leave so much as a single message.

Fanfiction"You never told me you were looking for me already? You should've said so, and I would've come to you... topless even." "Who told you I was looking for you?! And what do you mean, topless?!" I snapped at him, forcing my voice to remain hard and cold...
