As I crawled out of bed I snuck an admiring glance at Christian and Teddy as they playfully giggled at eachother. I couldn't wipe the ridiculous smile off of my face as I stepped into the hallway and was greeted by Mrs.Jones in the kitchen.
"May I get you anything dear?" She remarked as I failed to diminish the smile from my face. "Yes, please. Apple sauce for Teddy and two omelets for Christian and I." I comment, glancing down the hallway to signal towards my family.
"Mrs Jones." Christian acknowledges as he wraps his brawny arms around my waist, carrying Teddy in his other arm. Now this- this is my happy place right here.
"Now, remember we have lunch with Kate and Elliot and their family at 12. And also, I have an appointment to get Phoebe checked out just to  sure everything's going well at 3."
"Ay ay, Captain!" He sneers as I saunter towards our breakfast, perfectly laid out on the mahogany breakfast table.
As we finish the last few bites of our breakfast I snatch Teddy and give him a peck of a kiss as I prance up the stairs to play with his utterly adorable, and highly expensive, I might add, toys. There's no better feeling than knowing you have the best husband a woman can dream of, and the most perfect child in the world. I mean sure, Christian and I bicker at rare times, but it's nothing two grown adults can't handle. And besides, what's a perfect marriage without a little disagreement here and there?
I climb into the car as I finish buckling Teddy into his maroon colored car seat. I lean back in the chair of the car, oh how exhausting it is to be a mother. Christian reaches and over and places a hand on my leg, his long fingers grasping my upper thigh. I tilt my head back and let out a slight moan. Oh, how I miss the rough, hot sex Christian and I had almost every night. Since little Phoebe has come, he's always the bossy Christian, insisting that gentle sex will be better for the baby.
As we pull up to the small, corner restaurant I let out a squeal when I approach Kate. I've missed my bestfriend, a lot.
