Okay granted, I hadn't thought about simply examining Queen Misa.
I mean I had been distracted by the whole mind reading thing- It had nothing to do with getting my itch scratched.

Nothing.

" How long have you been unable to speak?"

She glanced at the king, who then turned to me, something that has been happening for the past fifteen minutes since I've arrived.

" Since a cub." He informed me.

So far, I've learned she has only been able to comunicate with him through there bond for the past four years- It also only happens between them both, she is not able to do the same with her other mates.

The king is also neither her first mate or the one she has known for the longest- so I could rule out years being the deciding factor, but there is no way for me to prove if she loves him or someother mate mate more so that Is only a guess on my part.

I plan on asking her when we are alone but for now, I'll keep my questions professional- Ish.

" And how many times a day or week do you both mate together."

The room stills.

" The question is for the sake of Science ofcourse.

Keeth shot me a look, in the corner.

I shrugged.

This totally wasn't pay back, because the king called me out on being needy infront my mate.

The king smirked.

" Once a day, Four times a week- I tend to give her intervals between sessions." He spits out like he should get a medal.

She slapped him.

Ofcourse he dosen't even flinch, rather he carries on.

" Had it not been for her poor stamina, It would've been twice a day everyday." He frowned.

Before she could've thrown the bone knife at him then me I changed the subject.

" You said, since a cub- Did you have no speaking ability or did something happen then you lost the ability?"

She thought for a moment.

She shivered and then nodded.

I glanced at the king, who grabbed her closer to his side if it had been possable.

" Prephaps we should stop for today?" He frowned.

First time the easy going male had made such a face.

But surprisingly the frigile woman shook her head and pleaded with him to translate what she had told him to us.

" She said, When she had only been Ten seasons old, the city had been attacked by the dammned and she and her brothers had to hidden themselves under an old tree outside the third ring of the city, they had dug a burrow under it and hid there for ten days and nights, in order to not get caught they had to stay silent-she could not speak a word for fear of being caught.

That is what her brothers had told her.
The others that had hid near them, did not make it out, the overrun.
her mothers mate found her days later, at that point her brothers had sacrificed themselves to ensure she survived.

I glanced at Keeth, who inclined his head.

" I'm sorry that happened to you." I offered a small smile, " Your brothers we're very brave- You have my condolences."

She titled her head.

Keeth then chimed in, to cover my blunder.

" My mate's kind, say this to offer sorrows for the ones you've lost, She means they are in the arms of the faiths now."
