Beautiful

Three mouths before the babies where due I already looked like a house. I slept on and off during the day. My doctor took me out of school so that I could get rest and Jace had limited my outings. I wasn't stuck in the house but I was in there more than usually was.

During the days Jace worked I set on the couch and read from one of the many romance novels that lined the book shelves in the living room. Rose made sure that I got out and walked the garden after lunch every day  for the health of the babies she says. And if I wasn't doing that I was taking a bath just to relax.

That's what I was doing right now, I had "Black Velvet" by Alannah Myles playing on the CD player. Scented candles lite, around the room. 

My eyes closed bubbles cover my body, my head rest on the back of the tub. My black hair pulled up into a bun on top my head to keep from getting wet.

"Do you know that your the most beautiful-est creature on this plant" 

I smile, setting up I opened my eyes

"Do you know it is inappropriate to walk in on a woman while she is taking a bath"

"Oh is there a woman in here"

"Vary funny Jace" I splash him with the water

He comes over setting on the edge of the tub.

"What are you doing home early anyways" I ask him

"I took off early that's way"

"Way"

He smiles, his hand finding mine.

"Will there's this beautiful young woman that I would like to spend time with. And this restaurant that you have to make reservations to get in and I happen to have them for tonight"

"Hum will I am a little jealous of this woman"

"Just as long as your ready by six you can be as jealous as you want of her"

I smile

"I got you something to wear" he tells me standing

"Oh, you know your going to spoil me"

"Yeah so"

I smile again, when he gets to the door he turns to me.

"Raven, this place we're going to. The people there know me, they know what I do and"

"You don't want me telling them that you slept with a seventeen year old" I finished

"That's not what I am saying, I just... It's just "

"You're going to be walking in there with your eighteen year old pregnant girl friend. You're worried about what they are going to think"

"No its not that, I just want to prepare you baby. I don't want you going in there bland folded"

"So what are you going to tell them about me" I ask

"The truth"

"Your going to tell them that your a wolf and I'm a bird and we're mate's. And you fucked me when I was seventeen and got me pregnant"

He smiles

"I'm going to tell them as much of the truth as I can. Be ready by six ok"

"Ok" I smile as I stand

His eyes go down my body before he turns and leave. I let the water out of the tub and head to the shower. After my shower I step out and grab the sheer rob that hangs on the back of the door. Wrapping it around my body, it once came to my knees but now it only came to my mid-thigh. I pin my hair up in a clip and head to the room.
