🌙 CHAPTER 1 - 11:53 PM

"Some messages are meant to be ignored. Others change everything."

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Aarav Mehta didn't believe in coincidences.

At least, he didn't before that night.

It was 11:53 PM.

The entire house was quiet.

His parents were asleep downstairs, the lights in the hallway were off, and the only thing keeping Aarav awake was the blue glow of his phone.

He was lying on his bed, scrolling through random videos, trying to convince himself that he wasn't tired.

Then his phone vibrated.

One new message.

Unknown Number.

Aarav frowned.

He opened it.

"Don't go to sleep tonight."

He stared at the screen.

For a few seconds, he didn't move.

Then he laughed.

"Okay... weird."

He typed:

"Who is this?"

The message showed as delivered.

No reply.

Aarav waited.

Ten seconds.

Twenty.

Nothing.

He tossed the phone onto his pillow.

"Wrong number."

He turned off the light.

Closed his eyes.

And tried to sleep.

His phone vibrated again.

Aarav opened his eyes.

Another message.

"You're going to regret ignoring me."

He sat up.

This wasn't funny anymore.

He typed quickly.

"Who are you?"

This time, the reply came instantly.

"Someone you'll meet tomorrow."

Aarav stared at the words.

Tomorrow?

He typed again.

"What's my name?"

Three dots appeared.

Then disappeared.

Appeared again.

Finally, a message arrived.

"Aarav Mehta."

His stomach dropped.

He hadn't told them his name.

Aarav looked toward his bedroom door.

Nobody was there.

He checked his social media.

Nothing unusual.

He searched the number.

No profile.
