This story is going to be a slower, more detailed kind of romance. It follows Marlowe Lawson, a twenty-three-year-old surgical trainee who moves from Boston to London to begin a new life at St. Thomas' Hospital.
She's brilliant and composed at work, slightly chaotic everywhere else, and definitely not expecting her quiet neighbor to become such an important part of her life.
This book will focus just as much on Marlowe's medical training, friendships, and adjustment to London as it does on the romance. It's a slow burn, so expect small moments, long conversations, rainy mornings, hospital shifts, and plenty of time for the characters to genuinely know each other.
