The midnight man is a game for the brave. Or the stupid. You decide. The object of the game is to survive to 3:33 am. And here is how you play:
In order to summon the Midnight Man, you must write your full name on a sheet of paper. Prick your finger and put a single drop of blood on the paper and set it in front of a door. (Not the front or back door) light a candle, then knock on the door 22 times. Make sure the 22nd knock is AT MIDNIGHT. No exceptions.
Now, blow out the candle, open the door, re light the candle, then close the door again. You've just invited the Midnight man into your home. And now the game's begun. The midnight man will wander your home and you MUST avoid him. If he is to catch you, you will die. Your candle light will flicker if he is near. If your light goes out, you have 10 seconds to re light it. If you can't, surround yourself with a circle of salt and sit there until 3:33am. DO NOT TOUCH THE CIRCLE.
If you do, the power is broken and he can get you.
If you survive, wait a minute or 2 just to be safe, then you may leave the circle, and even if you did survive, the midnight man may not leave. And may haunt your home forever.
